Esistono cinque diverse ruote dentate S, di diverso diametro, per ottenere uno dei cinque rapporti di prestiro disponibili: %. Per maggiori informazioni sui codici di ordinazione delle ruote dentate, consultare le tavole ricambi RT 05 presente sull appendice relativa alle parti di ricambio. Spegnere la macchina tramite l interruttore generale e mantenerla spenta durante tutta l operazione di modifica dei rapporti di prestiro. Smontare il carter di protezione C togliendo le quattro viti T. FIG 18. Allentare la vite V (FIG. 18/A) ed allontanare la ruota dentata F dalla ruota dentata S (FIG. 18/B). Togliere il pomello P, la rondella R e rimuovere la ruota dentata S. Introdurre la nuova ruota dentata S, avendo cura di infilare contemporaneamente asse centrale e spina laterale. Fissare con rondella R e pomello P serrando forte. Avvicinare la ruota dentata F, compenetrando la dentatura delle due ruote. In questa posizione, tenere leggermente spinto (max. 0,5 Kg) la ruota dentata F verso la nuova ruota dentata S, e bloccare tramite la vite V. Rimontare il carter di protezione C e fissarlo con le quattro viti T.
