Posare il materiale controllandone accuratamente calibro, tonalità e scelta. Nella posa è consigliabile lasciare una fuga di almeno 1-2 mm fra le piastrelle, utilizzando stucco chiaro o in tono. È comunque compito del progettista stabilire, in funzione della struttura e della destinazione d uso, il corretto modo di applicazione delle piastrelle.
