2 Presso il centro ippico "LA GERENCIA" a Miono in Spagna, si è tenuta nel week end del Maggio la 17ma edizione di una manifestazione completa ed interamente dedicata al cavallo arabo. Proprio come annuncia il titolo dell'evento: "ARABES&CO" la manifestazione nasce 17 anni fa con il nome di Arabissimo, poi con il passare degli anni (3 per l'esattezza) l'evento viene riorganizzato e gestito dai titolari del centro ippico: la Sig.ra Almudena Gallego San José e suo marito Julian Vinuesa, che ne fanno una perla per tutto il mondo del PSA. La manifestazione si articola in due giornate molto intense di gare. La prima giornata è per lo show di morfologia Internazionale Ecaho di classe B, segue una esibizione di Doma Classica. Per terminare, ci trasferiamo tutti al mare di Castro Urdiales per assistere alla gara di galoppo con ostacolo, che si tiene direttamente sulla spiaggia. As the title "ARABES&CO" suggests, this competition is dedicated to the Arabian horses, consisting of a Three Day event and a beauty show. This comes from the competition ARABISSIMO, made by Jean Marc Valerio, in France many years ago. As years went by (3, to be precise), it was reorganized and managed by the owners of the equestrian center, Mrs. Almudena Gallego San José and her husband Julian Vinuesa, who have turned it into the feather on the cap for the world of the PBA. The event comprises two intense days of competition. The first day focused on the International ECAHO class B conformation show, followed by a Dressage show. Finally, we all go to the seaside location of Castro Urdiales to see the hurdle gallop competition, which is held directly on the beach. Subito ci spostiamo nel campo di CROSS situato all'interno del centro, qui assistiamo a 4 prove di questa spettacolare attivita agonistica naturale, con il salto degli ostacoli fissi. Nel frattempo gli addetti ai campi hanno preparato il campo per una prova di salto ostacoli che si terrà fino a sera. Entriamo nel vivo dello show, ancora una volta la nostra rivista Tutto Arabi è presente per documentarvi quanto è accaduto nel ring di Miono: la prima categoria ad entrare in campo per essere giudicata è quella dei castroni. La giuria invitata per tutto lo show è formata dalla Sig.ra Renata Schibler (Svizzera), la Sig.ra Anna Stojanowska SHOWS AND EVENTS unusual but interesting show for everyone. Santiago Fernandez Bermejo (Spagna). Vince la classe entro i 10 anni "URKIOLA" (Pekos X Ghorak) dell'allevamento Flor de Lis di SAR Teresa De Borbon, che si aggiudica anche la Medaglia d'argento in Campionato finale. Secondo è "LAG-DAMANHUR" (Borneo X Pikara) allevato e di proprietà La Gerencia, lui in campionato finale sarà Medaglia di Bronzo. Nella classe over 10 anni il primo posto nella categoria e Medaglia d'oro in campionato, è "PUSKIN" (Fiolek X Finkara) di proprietà La Gerencia. "NARYM" (Abha Xarif X Hulama) di proprietà della Signorina Laura Farrés Correll è secondo. silver ZINGARA PSYCHE (Padrons Psyche X Zguba) Ring Master was Mr. Luis Rodriguez Barreda. Accede al campionato "ZINGARA PSYCHE" (Padrons Psyche X Zguba) allevata e di proprietà dell'allevamento Bautista Vich. Seconda categoria fattrici dai 7 ai 9 anni: "WINDHOEK" (Fakateko X Nordika) dell'allevamento di SAR Teresa De Borbon Flor De Lis è prima, seguita da "NOELIA" (Estawan Shaklan X Turmalina) di Complutum Arabians. L'ultima classe per le fattrici over 10 anni se la aggiudica "PIKARA" (Fiolek X Zoska) di La Gerencia. Al secondo posto "LAG-VEREDA" (Arabian Beauty X Adal-Umbria) di proprietà ed allevato da La Gerencia. Per questa categoria si disputa il campionato finale che determina la Medaglia d'oro a "BENUSS BINT MINEA" l'argento a "ZINGARA PSYCHE" e il Bronzo a "NOELIA". Secondo posto per "TCHAATA MATISSE" (Amir Al Tiglio X Mahatma Al Shamilah) del Sig. Philippe Ascaso. La seconda categoria stalloni accorpa i 7 anni e gli over 10. Vince con 274 punti "MONOGRAM" (Style Sra X Hall Victory) di proprietà dell'allevamento CD Dakota Arabian Horse. Pari punti ma secondo per differenza di un 20 in tipo per il primo è "AMARAL" (Posejdon X Avenida) di Bautista Vich. Vince la medaglia d'oro in campionato "MONOGRAM", Argento a "AMARAL" e Bronzo a "ALIDAR". Nella seconda giornata, sotto un sole gradevole, vediamo la prima categoria puledre di 1 anno. Ed è Kalliste Arabians dalla Francia ad aggiudicarsi il primo posto con "JOYYA BEA AL KALLISTE" (B.S. Seconda piazza per "KALIOPE EA" (Wh Justice X Kudola Kossack) dell'allevamento Garcia Ferrero. Si disputa ora il campionato Puledre, ed è "FM NEFERTARI" la medaglia d'oro. Argento per "JOYYA BEA AL KALLISTE" e medaglia di Bronzo a "KALIOPE EA". Si procede ora con i puledri di 1 anno, 3 le categorie e anche piuttosto numerose. La prima, per gli 1 anno è vinta da "IBAR-KATMANDOU" (Abha Peshawar X Abha Katmandou) di proprietà della Famiglia Mardaras- Alberdi. Seconda posizione per "TX DHAKIR" (Abha Qatar X Abha Mysia) dell'allevamento Llamor. Classe di 2 anni, è primo posto per "BESS KILANO" (Milano X Bess Beshirah) di proprietà di Risco de Las Vegas. 8 in campionato alle sue spalle Bautista Vich con "BV PIGMALION" (Wh Justice X Factura). Per i 3 anni l'accesso in campionato è per "K.A. ISSAAR" (B.S. Specific X Al Najba) di Kalliste Arabians e nella seconda linea "DINGARO" (Om El Extreem X Layka) di Complutum Arabians. In campionato è proprio "K.A. ISSAAR" a prendere la medaglia di Bronzo, quella d'argento è di "BV PIGMALIONE" e porta alle Canarie l'oro "BESS KILANO". Lo show termina con vari premi dati dagli sponsor del luogo, ma uno in particolare va citato. Tutti gli anni La Gerencia mette un premio per tutti gli handler che lavorando nei loro rispettivi allevamenti, permettono ai proprietari, agli allevatori e a tutti noi del settore di godere dello spettacolo, mettendo in standing e facendo muovere i cavalli nel ring. Quest'anno il premio miglior handler è stato assegnato alla memoria di un amico scomparso: silver JOYYA BEA AL KALLISTE (B.S. Specific X Shamilah Jina Bea) In the championship, "K.A. The show terminated with the various prizes awarded by the local sponsors, but one in particular is worth to be mention. Every year, la Gerencia offers a prize to the handlers who, working in their studs, allow owners, breeders and all of us in this sector to enjoy the show, getting the horses in a standing position and making them move around the ring. This year, the prize for the best handler went to Emilio Carriedo. Also there was a very emotive act to the memory of a beloved friend who sadly is no longer with us: Fernando Moreno de Borbón, a very loved and respected person within the Arabian horses world. 9 Emilio Carriedo. Erano presenti alla cerimonia che ha visto in campo tutti i cavalli montati e gli handler dello show, la mamma di Emilio, SAR Teresa de Borbon con il primogenito Rodrigo.
