1 A SYMPHONY OF LIGHT With the soft shades of sunset or the dazzling white of the sun at its zenith, the still light of the port or rocking light when sailing, light is a permanent feature in the new Azimut 88 that adds charm and fascination to every area and clearly defines a completely new style. In all the areas on the main deck, you are struck by the intensity with which the light defines the square forms of the new decor and the effects it creates when the reflections play on the lacquered surfaces, fabrics and mirrored elements like the door that separates the living area from the kitchen. Light onboard the Azimut 88 fills areas where it is normally not present such as the lower deck lobby where it arrives directly through the wide windscreen. It penetrates the two guest cabins through opal glass skylights and merges inside with another light, one that floods in through the two large panoramic windows. The result is two guest cabins or suites embellished by furnishings and an unmatched attention to comfort. The cabin on the right has two twin beds placed lengthwise and inserted in a walnut portal with bed heads in lightcoloured leather. The one on the left has a double bed placed crossways that looks directly onto the sea. The master suite in the centre of the yacht receives light through two panoramic windows placed along both sides and increases the intensity with the lacquered surface of the ceiling and the mirror that outlines the walnut portal around the bed head. Other portals define the different areas on the main deck with sober, refined elegance and separate the living area from the dining area and the kitchen. The kitchen cannot normally be seen by the owner and guests but has a large hatch that can be opened when passing food to the dining area. In addition to the concept of light and style that features in the project there is also the privacy of the living area which, together with the dining area, is transformed into a real oasis of seclusion. The crew can go along and across the boat, up onto the flybridge or down into the engine room without interfering with the owner and guests by way of a system of sliding panels towards the wheelhouse and two doors that open out onto the external walkways. On the left of the helm station there is a large dinette with a chart table, a luminous additional relaxation area for guests who want to talk to the captain while sailing. The pilot is surrounded by comfort and ergonomics. The impressively sized dashboard offers instruments that are close at hand and two large Raymarine monitors. The most important systems onboard can be controlled via a touch screen, a real window with a view of the running of the yacht. INTERIOR STYLING AND CONCEPT Three types of marble (yellow Siena marble for the master bathroom, statuary marble for the guest and VIP bathrooms, Cosmos blue for the top on the flybridge) and granite in the kitchen say more about the richness of materials on board the Azimut 88 than words. The furnishings are sober and the fabrics and coverings soft and refined. The flooring is doussie or covered with white carpet.

5 SINFONIA DI LUCE Con le sfumature morbide del tramonto o con il bianco abbagliante del sole allo Zenit, con la luce ferma del porto o quella basculante della navigazione, per il nuovo Azimut 88 la luce è l elemento permanente che aggiunge fascino ad ogni ambiente e definisce con limpidezza uno stile totalmente nuovo. In ogni zona del ponte superiore la luce sorprende per l intensità con cui definisce le forme squadrate del nuovo decor e per gli effetti a cui dà vita, con un gioco di riflessi sulle superfici laccate, sui tessuti e sugli elementi specchianti, come l anta che separa il salone dalla cucina. La luce, a bordo dell Azimut 88, occupa stabilmente aree dove solitamente non è di casa, come nella lobby del ponte inferiore, alla quale arriva direttamente dall ampio parabrezza. Si fa strada nelle due cabine ospiti attraverso lucernari opalini e all interno si fonde con l altra luce, quella che entra con la massima generosità attraverso le due grandi finestrature panoramiche. Il risultato sono due cabine ospiti che si possono definire senz altro come suite, impreziosite da un arredamento e un attenzione al comfort che non conoscono paragoni. Quella di destra con due letti gemelli posti in senso longitudinale e incastonati in un portale di noce con testate in pelle chiara. Quella di sinistra con un letto matrimoniale posto trasversalmente, che si affaccia direttamente sul mare. La cabina armatoriale a centro barca riceve a sua volta luce attraverso due finestrature panoramiche, poste lungo entrambe le pareti e ne moltiplica l intensità con la superficie laccata del cielino e lo specchio che definisce il portale in noce intorno alla testata del letto. Altri portali incorniciano con un eleganza sobria e importante le diverse zone del main deck e separano il salone dall area pranzo e dalla cucina. Questa è normalmente invisibile per armatore e ospiti ma è dotata di un ampia finestra passavivande apribile per agevolare il servizio verso la sala da pranzo. Ai concetti di luce e stile che governano il progetto si aggiunge la privacy del salone che - unito alla zona pranzo si trasforma in un autentica oasi di riservatezza. I marinai, infatti, possono attraversare la barca in senso latitudinale e longitudinale, salire sul fly o scendere in sala macchine senza interferire con armatore e ospiti, grazie ad un sistema di pannelli scorrevoli verso la timoneria e a due porte che si aprono su entrambi i camminamenti esterni. La zona di pilotaggio presenta sulla sinistra una grande dinette con tavolo per il carteggio, un luminoso spazio relax supplementare per quegli ospiti che desiderano intrattenersi con il comandante durante la navigazione. Il pilota è a sua volta avvolto da comfort ed ergonomia. Il cruscotto tradisce la dimensione da grande motoryacht, con strumenti raggiungibili con facilità e due grandi monitor Raymarine. Attraverso uno schermo touch screen si possono controllare e gestire i più importanti sistemi di bordo: un autentica finestra sulla funzionalità della barca. INTERIOR STYLING AND CONCEPT Tre tipi di marmo (marmo giallo di Siena per il bagno armatoriale, marmo statuario per i bagni ospiti e Vip, Cosmos blu per il top sul fly) e granito in cucina dicono più di molte descrizioni sul livello di ricchezza dei materiali a bordo dell Azimut 88. Gli arredi sono sobri, i tessuti e i materiali di rivestimento morbidi e raffinati. I pavimenti sono in legno doussiè o ricoperti con moquette bianca.
