Se alle origini la produzione si limitava esclusivamente ai parquet tradizionali in massello, oggi l azienda, oltre ai formati classici, commercializza ben 11 linee di prodotto, che comprendono pavimenti prefiniti multistrato e massello, parquet con trattamenti speciali pavimentazioni per esterno, complementi e finiture d arredo, materiali ausiliari. Tavar has always closely followed the sector s technological and aesthetic developments by constantly updating its systems and product range. Production initially centred only on traditional solid wood parquet floors but today, besides classical sizes, the company markets 14 product brands, including prefinished multilayer and solid wood floors, specially treated parquets, outdoor floors, furnishing accessories and finishes, accessory. L AZIENDA 2 THE COMPANY Nella sua sede di Ravenna, lungo le banchine del porto canale Candiano, Tavar dispone oggi di un area di circa m2, di cui coperti, dove si trovano la direzione, gli uffici commerciali e amministrativi, i magazzini per la stagionatura delle materie prime e dei prodotti finiti, lo stabilimento di produzione e lo showroom aziendale. La rete vendita conta su una diffusione capillare in tutta Italia, presso i principali rivenditori di materiali per l edilizia e l arredo, e vanta significative presenze anche all estero. At the Ravenna headquarters situated along the port quays of the Candiano canal, today Tavar owns a surface area of about 40,000 m2, 22,000 m2 of which are indoor areas. Here the management, commercial and administrative offices are situated, in addition to the warehouses for raw material seasoning and finished products, the production facility and the corporate showroom. The sales network counts on capillary distribution all over Italy through leading retailers of construction materials and furnishings, and it also has a significant presence abroad. Marcatura CE pavimenti in legno La marcatura prevede per le pavimentazioni in legno, il controllo, di determinati fattori tecnici e fisici. Un pavimento in legno che non rispetta completamente tali fattori, non può per legge essere commericializzato all interno dell Unione Europea. Tavar si è affidata ad un laboratorio accreditato, per far effettuare tutte le analisi richieste dalla normativa 14342:2005 su tutti i propri prodotti. CE marking wooden floors The marking is for the wooden flooring, the supervision, certain technical and physical factors. A wooden floor that does not comply with all these factors cannot to be marketed within the European Union. Tavar you is entrusted to an accredited laboratory, to perform all analysis legislation requests: 2005 on all its products. 5 Antique è la linea di parquet più classica per chi ricerca qualità eccezionale e raffinatezza estetica. La linea si suddivide in tre modelli diversi per concezione e forma: pannello a intarsio in stile Versailles, spina Ungherese e tavolato all inglese. Antique is the most classic line of parquet floors for those looking for exceptional quality and aesthetic appeal. The line consists of three models that are different in design and shape: inlay panels in Versailles style, Hungaryan style herringbone and English style planks. CARATTERISTICHE Linea di parquet prefiniti a 3 strati (ad esclusione del modulo Versailles), tutti in legno massello di Rovere europeo, e disposti a vena incrociata, con speciale trattamento d invecchiamento. Sono disponibili tre modelli differenti: Londra, tavolato all inglese; Budapest, spina Ungherese; Versailles, pannello artistico quadrato in Rovere massello. Lo spessore è sempre di 1 mm, con maschiature sui quattro lati. La finitura superficiale, con un emulsione oleo-cerosa che non richiede particolare manutenzione, presenta 8 tonalità. Trattandosi di materiali con finiture artigianali, le campionature sono da intendersi indicative e non vincolanti. CLASSIFICAZIONE Scelta unica Rustica in base alle indicazioni della normativa europea (Tab. UNI EN per parquet multistrato con incastro). Sono presenti venature, fiammature, nodi stuccati e anche irregolari. Presenza anche di piccole punzonature e scalfitture superficiali. POSA CONSIGLIATA Londra: con collanti bicomponenti. Budapest: con collanti bicomponenti, a spina ungherese. Versailles: con collanti bicomponenti, con l utilizzo di cantinelle (comprese nel prezzo). Idoneo su massetti radianti. Tutti i formati sono idonei su massetti radianti. FORNITURE Londra: le forniture avvengono in larghezza unica e più lunghezze, per pose a tolda di nave. Budapest e Versailles: forniture in dimensioni fisse. MANTENIMENTO Per la pulizia periodica, utilizzare il prodotto specifico, Wax-Care (vedi pag. 0). CHARACTERISTICS 3-ply engineered prefinished parquet line with all layers in solid European Oak, with cross-grain pattern and special seasoning treatment. There are three different models available: Londra, British-style boards; Budapest, Hungarian-style boards; Versailles, square artistic panel. Thickness is always 1 mm, with tapping on the four sides. The oil and wax emulsion surface finish does not require particular maintenance, and offers 8 hues. Since these materials with handcrafted finishing, samples are to be considered indicative and not binding. CLASSIFICATION Single selection extra Table UNI EN. The wood features complex grain, flaming and filled and irregular knots. The wood also includes small perforations and scratches. RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION Londra: with bicomponent glues. Budapest: with bicomponents for Hungarian herringbone design. Versailles: with bicomponent glues and stiffeners (included in the price). Ideal for installations on heated screeds. 7 Corte della Rovere è proposto come parquet rustico e si rifà alla tradizione dei vecchi tavolati prodotti artigianalmente. Richiama i pavimenti in legno grezzi, fatti a mano, tipici delle baite di montagna e delle dimore in stile rustico. Presenta le caratteristiche naturali del legno, quali nodi, fiammature, setolature e sgranature esaltate dal trattamento di spazzolatura e di piallatura. Corte della Rovere is classified as rustic parquet flooring and draws on the tradition of old handmade wood flooring. It recalls rugged, hand-made wooden flooring that is typical of mountain chalets and rustic homes. It presents the natural characteristics of wood, such as knots, flashes, fissures and grains enhanced by brushing and planning treatment. CARATTERISTICHE Tavolato a tre strati di eccezionali dimensioni, prefinito a vernice patinata. Prodotto in Rovere, con interpretazioni cromatiche, ha 4 mm di legno nobile, un monostrato centrale in Abete/multistrato e il terzo strato di controbilanciatura in Rovere, con una speciale sezionatura, che aumenta la stabilità e l elasticità degli elementi. La superficie è piallata e presenta un leggero trattamento di spazzolatura, per ricreare il fascino dei tavolati di una volta. Ha incastri maschio/femmina e microbisellatura sui 4 lati. CLASSIFICAZIONE Scelta unica Rustica in base alle indicazioni della normativa europea (Tab. UNI EN per parquet multistrato con incastro). POSA CONSIGLIATA Con collanti bicomponenti o con posa flottante. Idoneo su massetti radianti. FORNITURE Rovere: le forniture avvengono esclusivamente in 4 larghezze da mm 70 a mm 300 in queste percentuali: larghezza mm % larghezza mm % larghezza mm % larghezza mm % MANTENIMENTO Utilizzare detergenti neutri non schiumosi. Consigliato Clean Wood di Tavar (vedi pag. 58). CHARACTERISTICS 3-ply board of exceptional size, pre-finished with patina effect. Oak product, with six colour interpretations, 4 mm of hardwood, a central single layer in Spruce and the third layer of counterbalancing in Oak, with a special sizing, that increases the stability and the elasticity of the elements. The surface is planed and there is a slight brushing treatment, to recreate the charm of floor boards of the past. It is complete with tongue and groove fittings and micro-bevelling on the four sides. CLASSIFICATION Rustic is the only choice based on indications laid down by European standards (Tab. UNI EN for multilayer parquet with joint). Recommended installation: with bicomponent glues or with floating installation ideal for installations on heated screeds. RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION With two-component adhesives or as a floating floor. Ideal for installation on radiant heated floors. The surface is in Siberian oak, classified as either Rustic or Select according to UNI EN standards: the Rustic option has clear flaming and knots, while the Select version is characterised by lined veining and flaming with the possible presence of healthy knots. 30 PULIZIA ORDINARIA ORDINARY CLEANING 3 CLASSIFICAZIONE DEI PRODOTTI PRODUCTS CLASSIFICATION Per il normale lavaggio dei pavimenti trattati a olio/cera va utilizzato il Sapone detergente. All occorrenza, per ridare brillantezza si consiglia l applicazione saltuaria di Rinnova SC-2 (emulsione oleocerosa autolucidante). LAVAGGIO CON IL SAPONE DETERGENTE Dopo avere pulito con un panno antistatico o con l aspirapolvere, vanno utilizzati circa ml di Sapone detergente diluiti in un secchio di acqua tiepida, strizzando bene il panno affinché il pavimento non assorba acqua. In caso di sporco intenso è possibile aumentare fino al doppio o al triplo le dosi, arrivando anche ad utilizzarlo puro per macchie locali ostinate, con un successivo risciacquo. Dopo, a pavimento asciutto, si può usare una lucidatrice con feltro morbido per dare lucentezza alla pavimentazione. Questo trattamento andrebbe eseguito ogni giorni, ma nei locali ad alto traffico è meglio farlo ogni 4-5 giorni. OLEOCERATURA CON RINNOVA SC-2 A pavimento pulito (se necessario, è bene fare prima un lavaggio con il Sapone detergente), occorre versare Rinnova SC-2 sul pavimento, stendendolo con un panno umido su tutta la superficie e avendo l accortezza di non calpestarlo prima di circa minuti. Con un litro di prodotto, si riescono a trattare circa 45 m 2 di parquet. MANTENIMENTO ORDINARIO Per gli interventi di mantenimento ordinario va utilizzato l olio tonalizzante Rigenera. Questi interventi vanno eseguiti solo in casi di forte calpestio, di ingrigimenti o comunque in casi di eccessiva opacizzazione dei pavimenti trattati ad olio/cera. Il mantenimento dei pavimenti è consigliato soprattutto per i parquet sbiancati con Rigenera Bianco, e in quelli tonalizzati ; oppure nel caso di opere straordinarie, come per esempio dopo il montaggio e lo smontaggio di mobili o dopo aver eseguito opere murarie. RIDARE BRILLANTEZZA CON RIGENERA Dopo aver eseguito un normale ciclo di pulizia, va fatto un ulteriore risciacquo del pavimento, utilizzando acqua tiepida e uno straccio morbido ben strizzato, per eliminare ulteriori tracce di sporco o di detergente. A pavimento asciutto, bisogna spruzzare Rigenera sulla superficie e stenderlo uniformemente con un panno morbido, pulito ed asciutto, al fine di rendere il parquet brillante nella sua tonalità. Occorre attendere non meno di 2-3 ore prima di calpestare di nuovo il pavimento. Rigenera è un olio tonalizzante e nutriente e va utilizzato frequentemente nelle zone ad intenso calpestio, come le soglie di ingresso, i gradini, i disimpegni. Questo trattamento andrebbe eseguito nelle abitazioni ogni 4-5 mesi, ma per uffici e locali ad alto traffico bisognerebbe ripeterlo ogni 2-3 mesi. Con un litro di prodotto, si riescono a trattare circa 30 m 2 di parquet. MANTENIMENTO STRAORDINARIO Per gli interventi di manutenzione straordinaria e di ripristino del colore va utilizzato il Pigmento Superconcentrato. Questi interventi vanno eseguiti esclusivamente da personale specializzato solo nei casi di danneggiamenti localizzati alle superfici tonalizzate. RIDARE COLORE CON IL PIGMENTO SUPERCONCENTRATO Nel caso di asportazione della tinta a seguito di danneggiamenti localizzati, occorre carteggiare la parte interessata al fine di estendere la zona sulla quale intervenire. Successivamennte, con una piccola spugna va applicato a piccole dosi il Pigmento superconcentrato, fino ad uniformare la zona trattata al resto della pavimentazione. Ripristinata la tinta, stendere due mani di Rigenera sulla zona interessata. Successivamente, applicare Rigenera su tutta la superficie. AVVERTENZE PER LA CONSERVAZIONE DEI PRODOTTI - Il Sapone detergente, Rinnova- SC 2, Rigenera e il Pigmento Superconcentrato, seppure prodotti naturali, vanno tenuti lontano dalla portata dei bambini e non vanno riciclati nelle acque di scarico. - È opportuno tenere i prodotti lontano da fonti di calore. - Chiudere sempre, anche in corso di trattamento, le confezioni dei prodotti - A trattamento avvenuto, lavare accuratamente il panno utilizzato con acqua corrente al fine di eliminare tutti i residui: è opportuno adottare tale precauzione sia che il panno venga conservato sia che venga gettato. - I prodotti vanno conservati ben chiusi, in ambienti protetti dal gelo e con temperature non superiori ai 30 C (Sapone e Rinnova) o ai 21 C (Rigenera e Pigmento). For normal washing of oil/wax-treated floors use the detergent soap. If necessary, to restore shine, occasionally apply Rinnova SC-2 (selfpolishing oil-wax emulsion). WASHING WITH DETERGENT SOAP After cleaning with an antistatic cloth or with the Hoover, use about ml of detergent soap diluted in a bucket of warm water, wringing the cloth well to prevent the floor from absorbing water. For intense dirt, increase the dose two or three-fold, even using it pure for stubborn local stains, and then rinse. When the floor is dry, use a floor polisher with soft felt to shine the floor. This treatment should be implemented every days but in high traffic areas it is better to repeat applications every 4-5 days. OIL WAXING WITH RINNOVA SC-2 When the floor is clean (if necessary, first wash with detergent soap), pour Rinnova SC-2 on the floor, apply it with a soft cloth on the entire surface and pay attention not to tread on it for about minutes. One litre of product will treat about 45 m 2 of parquet floor. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE For routine maintenance, use Rigenera colour toning oil. This type of maintenance must only be performed in case of intense traffic, greying or, anyhow, on very dull floors treated with oil/wax. Floor maintenance is especially recommended for parquet floors that are bleached with Rigenera Bianco, and for the colour toned ones or, in case of extraordinary works, as for example after assembly and disassembly of furniture or after works on masonry. RESTORING SHINE WITH RIGENERA After performing a normal cleaning cycle, rinse the floor with warm water and a well wrung soft cloth to remove further traces of dirt or detergent. When the floor is dry, spray Rigenera on the surface and spread it evenly with a soft, clean, dry cloth to make the parquet shine in its hue. Wait at least 2-3 hours before walking on the floor again. Rigenera is a nourishing colour toning oil that must be frequently used in high traffic areas, such as entrance thresholds, steps and corridors. This treatment should be used in houses every 4-5 months but for offices and high traffic rooms it should be repeated every 2-3 months. One litre of product will treat about 30 m 2 of parquet floor. EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE For extraordinary maintenance and colour restoring use Superconcentrated Pigment. These type of maintenance must only be performed by specialised personnel and only in case of localized damage to colour toned surfaces. RESTORING COLOUR WITH SUPERCONCENTRATED PIGMENT In case of removal of the colour after localized damage, sandpaper the area concerned to extend the area to be treated. Then, use a small sponge to apply small doses of Superconcentrated pigment to ensure that the area treated is uniform with the rest of the floor. After restoring the colour, apply two coats of Rigenera on the area concerned. Then apply Rigenera on the entire surface. WARNINGS FOR PRODUCT STORAGE - Though the Detergent Soap, Rinnova- SC 2, Rigenera and Superconcentrated Pigment are natural products, they must be kept out of the reach of children and must not be recycled in waste water. - Keep the products away from sources of heat. - Always close the product packages, even during treatment. - After treatment, carefully wash the cloth used with running water to remove all residue: this precaution is recommended whether the cloth is preserved or disposed of. - Products must be stored tightly closed in environments protected from freeze and at temperatures below 30 C (Sapone and Rinnova) or 21 C (Rigenera and Pigmento). Tollerate porzioni di alburno sano sulla controfaccia e solo su un fianco dell elemento e per una lunghezza inferiore alla lunghezza totale dell elemento stesso, visibile su di una sua sola testa. Rustica: è consentito qualsiasi difetto, purché non comprometta l impiego degli elementi. Note tecniche La presenza di alburno non esclude dopo la posa in opera eventuali attacchi di insetti che viceversa nel durame si presentano solo eccezionalmente. Essiccazione: l essiccazione dei nostri parquet tradizionali è garantita fra il 7 e l 11%; nei parquet prefiniti (a due/tre strati) tra il 5 e il 9%. Eventuali reclami saranno presi in considerazione solo se il materiale sarà ancora giù d opera e con gli imballi originali non aperti o manomessi. Condizioni ambientali: il parquet dovrà essere posato tenendo rigorosamente conto delle seguenti precauzioni. Sottofondi: umidità non superiore al 2% in peso e idonei. Texture, grain and colour are typical of the species. Standard: prevalently flamed grain with evident fibre deviations. Curlings, irregular grain and small healthy knots with max. diam. 3 mm are allowed. Healthy sapwood areas are tolerated on the back and only on one side of the element, and for a length that is shorter than the overall length of the element, and is visible only on one head of the board. Rustic: any defect is allowed as long as it does not impair the use of elements. Technical notes The presence of sapwood does not rule out pest attacks after installation. Said attacks occur only exceptionally in heartwood. Seasoning: 7-11% seasoning is guaranteed for our traditional parquet floors, and 5-9% is ensured for prefinished parquet floors (with two/ three layers). Any complaints will only be considered if the material has still to be installed and is contained in the original packaging that has not been opened or tampered with. Ambient conditions: the following precautions must be strictly considered during installation of the parquet floor. Sub-floors: moisture not exceeding 2% of the weight and suitable. Ambient temperature: not below 15 C. Moisture of ambient air: minimum 45% - maximum 5%

31 COLLANTE PER PARQUET Free è l adesivo bicomponente epossi-poliuretanico, completamente privo di solventi, a marchio Tavar. Adatto per qualsiasi formato di parquet, si può utilizzare su sottofondi di cemento, anche radianti, o su pavimenti preesistenti in gres o ceramica. Consigliato soprattutto per parquet prefiniti, consente il calpestio dopo ore dalla posa. PARQUET GLUE Free is a bicomponent epoxy-polyurethane glue that is completely free of solvents, produced by Tavar. Suitable for any parquet format, it can be used on cement sub-floors, even heated ones, on existing floors in stoneware or ceramic. Especially recommended for prefinished parquet floors, treading is allowed hours after installation. DETERGENTI PER PARQUET VERNICIATI Per la manutenzione ordinaria dei pavimenti in legno verniciati, sono consigliati due prodotti specifici accuratamente selezionati da Tavar.
