2 Un vecchio detto popolare dice: Mai lasciare la strada vecchia per la nuova! In questo caso il Dott. Antonini, organizzatore dello show, andando contro le credenze popolari ha fatto la cosa giusta e molto gradita a tutti noi. Infatti il vecchio show di Boario Terme è stato trasferito in uno dei più bei centri ippici in europa: Il Palasturla di. In questa nuova location si è tenuto nei giorni e 25 di luglio lo show internazionale B dedicato al PSA. Una cornice meravigliosa quella del campo ostacoli in erba, trasformato in ring e prering dall organizzazione. Box allestiti in cemento, hanno ospitato i 74 cavalli iscritti alla gara. Per noi operatori invece, la struttura offriva ogni confort, dal ristorante, ai tavoli Vip con un piccolo ma efficiente servizio bar, un ottimo gazebo per la giuria vicino alla costruzione che ha Aen old saying goes: Better the devil you know than the devil you don t. Mr. Antonini, the show organizer, did not follow the old folk tale and made indeed the right choice, very much appreciated by us all. He decided to move the old Boario Terme show to one of the most beautiful equestrian centers in Italy, the Palasturla in. In its new home, the International B show for PBA was held on July 23rd, 24th and 25th. The showjumping grass course, transformed by the organizers into the ring and pre-ring, created a fabulous backdrop for the show. The concrete loose boxes accommodated the 74 horses that had been entered. For us operators, the list of facilities included everything from restaurant to VIP tables, a small but efficient bar service and an excellent gazebo for the ) artwork created by ( TUTTO ARABI 295

3 PALASTURLA ospitato la Sig.ra Luisa Bonomi per la musica e la Dott. ssa Laura Mascagna, che oltre ad essere un veterinario è un factotum quando si trova in show, in quanto svolge un pò di ruoli: addetta alla segreteria, allo spicheraggio e alla segreteria computer per i punteggi. La giuria in campo era formata dal Sig. Christian Moschini (IT), dalla Sig.ra Maria Ferraroni (IT), dal Sig. Daniel Souppat (FR) e dal Sig. Konraed Detailleur (Belgio). Alla Commissione Disciplinare, la Sig.ra Marina Pasquali e il Sig. Amadio Sparapan, mentre il ring Master di questa nuova edizione dello show è il Sig. Mario Bonomi. Rappresentante Anica all interno della manifestazione, ma sopratutto supervisore esperto per la buona realizzazione dello show era il Sig. Ivo Ludi. Il tempo è stato clemente con noi, in quanto poco più a nord i temporali hanno creato dei veri e propri danni alla campagna e alle coltivazioni. Devo dire però che quest anno il rischi di fare lo show sotto l acqua non è mai esistito perchè il Palasturla che ci ha ospitato dispone addirittura di 2 coperti. In caso maltempo la manifestazione non avrebbe subito ne danni ne ritardi. Grazie quindi al Sig. Antonini e a sua moglie Marisa, che con tanto lavoro, dedizione e amore per il purosangue Arabo hanno avuto il coraggio di spostare la manifestazione, da Boario, che oltretutto ospita il loro Circolo Ippico RUK, a questo fantastico centro. Grazie anche alla nostra fotografa, Nicoletta Abelli che con le sue foto ci permette sempre di rivivere i momenti più belli e salienti degli show. q judges. Near-by, a structure was set up to accommodate Mrs. Luisa Bonomi for the music and Dr. Laura Mascagna, veterinarian and an all-rounder when it comes to shows: she was the secretary, the speaker and entered also the scores into the computer system. The judges were Mr. Christian Moschini (IT), Mrs. Maria Ferraroni (IT), Mr. Daniel Souppat (FR) and Mr. Konraed Detailleur (Belgium). The disciplinary commission consisted of Mrs. Marina Pasquali and Mr. Amadio Sparapan, while the ring master of this new edition was Mr. Mario Bonomi. The ANICA representative at the show, who also acted as experienced supervisor, was Mr. Ivo Ludi. The weather was good with us, as slightly further north there were thunderstorms that caused lots of damage to the countryside and the crops. It must be said that this year, the risk of running a show under the rain was nonexistent, as the Palasturla includes 2 indoor arenas. In case of bad weather, the show would have been neither delayed nor marred. Therefore, I would like to thank Mr. Antonini and his wife Marisa, who have worked so hard, with so much devotion and love for the Purebred Arabian and had the courage to move the show from Boario, which incidentally houses their Equestrian Center called RUK, to this fantastic center.
