L UCAS (University and College Admissions Service) è un organismo centralizzato statale che: svolge le funzioni amministrative per gli studenti che desiderano iscriversi a corsi a tempo pieno presso college e università britannici; è un punto informazioni e suggerimenti sull'istruzione superiore.

4 Come presentare la domanda FASE 1: SCELTA DEI CORSI Ricercare i corsi più adatti alle proprie esigenze dal sito search.ucas.com. Contattare l'università direttamente per controllare i requisiti di ammissione e il livello di conoscenza dell'inglese richiesto. FASE 2: PRESENTAZIONE DELLA DOMANDA Compilare la domanda registrandoti on-line all'indirizzo ucas.com/apply. Puoi fare domanda per un massimo di cinque corsi separati. Allegare: dichiarazione personale (lettera di presentazione) e lettera di raccomandazione (scuola, insegnantee o datore di lavoro)

6 Come presentare la domanda FASE 3: ELABORAZIONE DELLA DOMANDA Dopo aver presentato la domanda, effettua l accesso nel sito ucas.com per seguirne l andamento. Nel caso in cui non si ricevesse risposta, nella sezione Extra (ucas.com/extra) sarà possibile presentare domanda per i corsi in cui vi sono ancora posti a disposizione. Dopo aver ricevuto una domanda e averla presa in considerazione, le università potranno fare: un offerta condizionata; un offerta incondizionata.

7 Studiare nel Regno Unito: le scadenze Ogni corso prevede scadenze diverse per la presentazione della domanda: 15 ottobre per le università di Oxford o Cambridge o per i corsi di laurea in medicina, odontoiatria o veterinaria; 15 gennaio per la maggior parte dei corsi; 24 marzo per alcuni corsi artistici e di design; 30 giugno le domande pervenute dopo questa data saranno incluse nel Clearing
