1 NATIONAL SPORT SCHOOL Mark HALF-YEARLY EXAMINATION 2016 Level 4-6 FORM 1 ITALIAN TIME: 30 minutes LISTENING COMPREHENSION TEST (20 punti) Teacher s Paper Please first read the instructions carefully by yourself and then read them aloud to the students, translating if and where necessary. Kindly also read out aloud, translating if necessary, the instructions on the Candidate s Paper, before each exercise. Prova A A scuola You are allowed one minute to look carefully at the pictures on your examination paper. (Allow 1 minute) You shall be listening to seven statements related to school objects. All you have to do is to match the statements to the corresponding picture on your examination paper. You are to write the number of each statement in the corresponding box. The statements shall be read out to you twice with a short pause between each of them. At the end you will have two minutes for final revision. You may take down short notes during both readings. Be careful, because seven statements shall be read out and there are eight pictures on your examination paper. This means that one of the pictures has to remain without a number because no statement corresponds to it. Note to teachers: Please read the numbers of the statements very clearly in Italian. 1. Il mio zaino è molto pesante. 2. L insegnante scrive i nostri compiti alla lavagna. 3. Luisa ha un nuovo astuccio pieno di colori. 4. In classe abbiamo un cestino ma i ragazzi buttano tutto per terra. 5. Il banco dell insegnante è vicino alla finestra. 6. In matematica usiamo il righello per fare linee dritte. 7. You are to mark with an X in the appropriate column. I shall read the seven statements one by one and then, after the first reading, I shall give you a minute to mark your answers. Afterwards, I shall read the statements a second and final time and you will have one minute for revision. You may take down short notes during both readings. Note to teachers: Please read the numbers of the statements very clearly in Italian. 1. Nell immagine ci sono cinque persone. 2. La bambina non ha lo zaino. 3. Ci sono una macchina e una moto in strada. 4. La donna porta un cappello. 5. È autunno e cadono le foglie. 6. C è un uccello sull albero. 7. Il vigile urbano aiuta il bambino ad attraversare la strada. Prova C Chi sono? 6 punti You are allowed one minute to look carefully at the pictures on your examination paper. (Allow one minute) You are going to listen to six statements which you have to match with six of the pictures you see on your examination paper. I shall read out the statements to you once and then, after a pause of 2 minutes, I shall read the statements a second and final time. All you have to do is write the NAME of the person beneath the corresponding picture. Be careful, because there are eight pictures, and this means, that two of them have to remain without a name as none of the statements read out corresponds to them. At the end you shall be given one minute for final revision. You may take down short notes during both readings. Note to teachers: Kindly read the names very clearly in Italian. 1.
