2 2 1. Short CV Francesco Scaglione is Associate Professor at the Department of Economics of the University of Perugia, where he teaches Private Law. At the same Institution he has also taught Private Law of the Economy for the Master s degree in Legal and Economic Consultancy for Business (course on Competition Law). He also teaches Tourism Law and Private Law for the degree in International Economics of Tourism, in Assisi (Perugia). In 2013 he obtained the National Scientific Qualification to function as Full Professor of Private Law in Italian Universities. He has been member of the Academic Board of the International Ph.D. Program in Knowledge-based society and common market discipline. Interdisciplinary profiles of the European and international integration process at the University of Perugia. In 2012 he was appointed by ANVUR (National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes) peer review expert for the Evaluation of Research Quality. He is also scientific coordinator of the Bilateral Agreement LLP Erasmus between the University of Perugia and the University of Madrid Francisco de Vitoria. He is research staff member of Jean Monnet project IR&RI (Individual Rights & Regional Integration) and teaching staff member of Jean Monnet project Europeanization through Private Law Instruments, EuPLAW (2013/2016). He taught European Union Competition Law for graduate students at Professional School Euro-Mediterranean Studies 2012 of Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI), in Slovenia. Since 2002 he has also taught Law of Succession for graduate students at the Notarial School of the Regions of Umbria and the Marches Baldo degli Ubaldi. He is member of the Scientific Board of Diritto e Processo - Right and Remedies, Law Yearbook of the University of Perugia - International Annual Review in collaboration with Tecnológico de Monterrey (Campus de Ciudad de México) & Escuela Libre de Derecho (México). He is also member of the Institute for Law and Economic Studies Gioacchino Scaduto Ltd., Spin-off of the University of Perugia, having as its object the use of business results of legal and economic research. His research activity focuses on Contract Law and European Competition Law, as well as Family Law. Currently he is working on filiation and childhood issues in Europe.
