Come erano i nostri personaggi famosi a sedici anni? Cosa cambierebbero nella loro vita con il senno di poi?* Abbiamo intervistato tre di loro per voi. Eva Riccobono è nata a Palermo il sette febbraio 983. Ha iniziato a fare la modella in Sicilia a diciannove anni. Poco dopo si è trasferita a Milano dove, in pochissimo tempo, è diventata una delle modelle più fotografate del mondo. Ai sedici anni tutto non era facile, perché avevo molti complessi. Per esempio, mi sentivo brutta, ero troppo alta e magra. Peggio ancora: ero completamente diversa dalle altre ragazze perché ero bionda, l esatto contrario della bellezza mediterranea nella mia Sicilia. Solo quando il lavoro di modella mi ha portato a Milano ho cominciato ad essere felice. Nessuno mi ripeteva continuamente di mangiare per ingrassare. Quindi il mio consiglio sarebbe di non preoccuparsi delle opinioni degli altri: essere diversi significa anche essere speciali. Walter Fontana, cantante, è nato a Vicenza nel 986. Nel 2003 ha formato una band, i Lost. Il gruppo ha avuto un grande successo grazie a MySpace. Per me ci sono tre cose fondamentali. Prima mi direi Sì, continua a passare ore e ore su internet per pubblicizzare la tua musica, le tue canzoni. Bisogna credere in quello che fai, e il risultato per noi è stato che abbiamo ricevuto il nostro primo contratto nel mondo della musica. Secondo, se la gente non ti ascolta, continua ad insistere, e conta sempre e solo su te stesso. (t) (m) Question number one. Vittorio is talking about his year as a school exchange student in Scotland. Il mio scambio è andato proprio bene. Sono stato molto fortunato con la famiglia scozzese che mi ospitava, i signori MacDonald: erano persone molto generose e andavo molto d accordo con loro. È anche grazie a loro che ho passato un anno bellissimo a Edimburgo. La signora MacDonald lavorava come medico all ospedale. Il signor MacDonald era in pensione, e il loro figlio, David, era a Glasgow per studiare teatro. Era nel suo ultimo anno. Io dividevo la mia camera con Omar, un ragazzo francese, anche lui in Scozia per passare un anno all estero. Devo dire che mi sono adattato bene alla vita in Scozia ma l unica cosa strana era mangiare così presto la sera, alle sei. L esperienza a scuola non è stata difficile: avevo meno compiti che in Italia, e non c era scuola il sabato mattina. Sì, sono proprio contento di aver fatto lo scambio. Avrò la possibilità di visitare il sud della Francia, bellissimi posti sulla costa mediterranea della Spagna, e anche di prendere una bella abbronzatura. Per l inverno, invece, andrò in un paese in montagna, che si chiama Bardonecchia, dove si va a sciare. Per avere abbastanza soldi per vivere, lavorerò in un negozio, un negozio che affitta sci per gli sciatori. Io adoro la neve e nel tempo libero, potrò anch io andare a sciare... Comunque durante l anno ad Edimburgo non avevo moltissimo tempo libero perché avevo molti libri da leggere per i miei studi al liceo in Italia. Spesso il sabato, però, andavo a prendere un cappuccino in centro perché mi mancava il buon caffè italiano. Naturalmente, ho anche fatto il turista, e sono andato a vedere il famoso grande castello in centro e anche il Museo Nazionale Scozzese. I ricordi più belli? Durante le vacanze di Pasqua sono andato a fare un escursione dei laghi, nel nord della Scozia. Il tempo non era bellissimo ma il paesaggio era stupendo, e ho fatto tante foto.
