Giorgio Bracco era un maestro elementare e ha sempre amato il passato, il mistero. Un giorno ha comprato un computer portatile e si è messo a scrivere un libro giallo. Ma perchè Giorgio preferisce scrivere i gialli? Lui dice che, fin da bambino, quando pensa ad una storia di questo genere, gli vengono in mente tante idee che non trova difficile mettere su carta. Lui vorrebbe vendere i suoi libri all estero ma, purtroppo, questi paesi preferiscono pubblicare i libri dei loro scrittori. È un peccato perchè Giorgio sarebbe anche disposto a viaggiare all estero per fare pubblicità. Quando Giorgio deve completare un libro, mette la sveglia presto per poter alzarsi prima della sua famiglia. A quell ora la casa è tranquilla, nessuno telefona e nessuno lo disturba. Può così lavorare in pace. Giorgio dice che il suo lavoro è un sogno perchè trova ispirazione facilmente. Ogni giorno legge i quotidiani. Se c è una notizia interessante che riguarda un crimine, conserva la pagina e più tardi la usa per i suoi libri.

Put a tick ( ) in the box Trovo la pubblicità in televisione molto fastidiosa. I programmi vengono interrotti troppe volte ed è facile dimenticare quello che si guarda. Io registro i miei programmi favoriti per mandare avanti i filmati pubblicitari. La pubblicità in televisione ci tiene al corrente delle novità e delle offerte che possono essere interessanti. Credo comunque che sarebbe meglio farne di meno in TV. E un po noioso vedere gli stessi filmati pubblicitari ogni sera. Io trovo la pubblicità in televisione molto utile. Mentre guardo un film o un programma, anche se è interessante, ho bisogno di una pausa. Quindi aspetto il momento della pubblicità. E ci sono filmati pubblicitari divertenti. 9 Trovo sbagliato che i bambini vengano bombardati costantemente con filmati che propongono videogiochi e merendine piene di zuccheri. E poi alcuni filmati pubblicitari ci fanno illudere che una crema faccia ringiovanire. Non dobbiamo accettare queste menzogne! Riconosco che la pubblicità in televisione può essere irritante. Ci sono campagne, però, che portano benefici alla società. Per esempio, la pubblicità sui pericoli di fumare o di guidare troppo veloce. È una forma efficace di educare il pubblico.
