1 Guidelines to ONLINE exams registration Version 02 updated on Didactic offer Incoming students studying at Università degli studi di Torino during the academic year 2015/2016 can attend courses offered by the Department in charge of their mobility period and scheduled in the a.y. 2015/2016. Nonetheless, students can attend courses offered by other Departments, provided that their Department Coordinator approved their Learning Agreement/Change. Online career: please note that Erasmus/International students have not an online career from the beginning of their mobility period, but each exam is inserted in their online booklet when they sign up for exams at the end of the courses. Therefore, each time that students sign up for an exam, their online booklet is gradually filled in with new data. As a consequence, it is very important to register online for exams. Information regarding didactic 2015/2016 offer of each Department is available on the classes schedule webpage, where the list of 2015/2016 planned courses is published. The schedule of classes is available at the following path (italian language only): Servizi» Per lo Studio» Orario delle lezioni We advise students to consult the website of each Department where students will also find: the list of courses the timetable of lessons and exams the services offered to the students of each Department/ School. Further information about the didactic offer of each Department is also available on Didattica» Offerta formativa» Esplora l offerta formativa» Scenario didattico. Bacheca Appelli (exams session calendar) To take exams at the University of Torino students have to sign up for the specific date (APPELLO) of each exam they want to take. The list of the appelli scheduled by the Departments of the University of Torino is available on Servizi» Per lo Studio» Appelli d'esame» Bacheca appelli» Accedi alla bacheca appelli When entering the Bacheca appelli, we advise students to search by Department only and, if necessary, by Professor as well. 2 NOTE: through Bacheca Appelli students can consult the list of available appelli; in order to sign up for a specific appello students have to log-in by using their personal credentials (please refer to the following guidelines). 1. Registration for an Appello Log-in with personal credentials. Starting from the main menu, select the tag Esami (exams) and then Appelli disponibili (available appelli). 4 In this page, the title of the exam has to be entered in the search field Attività didattica (didactic activity); once it has been filled in, click on CERCA (search). NOTE: internships must be registered on the Libretto online too, like any other exams. If you do not know the name/title of your internship, you have to contact the Coordinator responsible for the activity. If you do not sign up for the internship exam date, the activity will not appear on the Transcript of Records (received at the end of the mobility period). 5 The search will find all the items containing the sought word and therefore the result will show the list of all the appelli scheduled by all the Departments of the University of Torino and not only the appelli planned by the Department where the student is enrolled. ADVISE: To set an effective search, students have to insert the COMPLETE TITLE of the course specified in the didactic offer of the Department the exam refers to. To go on with the procedure, select the appello of your interest. The page shows the list of the available appelli scheduled by the Department where the student is enrolled (Appelli offerti nella propria facoltà) and the appelli scheduled by other Departments too (Appelli offerti nell Ateneo). 6 The date of the appello, the period to apply and the Professor in charge of the course (Docente) are specified for each exam. The title of the appello is mentioned in the field Descrizione, while the field Offerta nel Corso specifies the Degree Course which the exam belongs to. NOTE: We advise students to refer to their Department Coordinator in order to check if they can take exams offered by other Departments (the professor has to approve the Change To LA). KEY: Period to apply OPEN: students can apply for the appello; Period to apply CLOSE: students cannot apply for the appello. 7 Detailed information about the selected appello are showed in the next page. In order to proceed with the registration for the selected appello, click on PROCEDI (proceed) otherwise, to search for a new exam, click on ANNULLA (cancel). 8 After that, the page shows detailed information about the appello the student is going to sign up for (Type of exam, Professor, Place and Date). Specific information to be notified to the Professor can be filled in the field NOTE (es: Erasmus student). 10 WARNING: recurring error While you are searching for and selecting an appello in Bacheca Appelli, an error could apper in the page and, if this occurs, the system would not let the student go on with the procedure. This error is due to the wrong selection of an appello which refers to a course no more offered for the a.y. 2015/2016. In this case we suggest students check the correct name of the course in order to do a new search in the Bacheca Appelli (refer to page 2 of this document). 11 When students proceed with the selection of one of the open appelli which are symbolized with the icon - the following message appears: ESSE3 Messaggio per USER USER [MAT ] In this case it is necessary to do another search of the appello by entering the exact title/name of the course (please refer to the information specified the previous page). 12 2. To cancel a registration for an appello It is possible to cancel a registration if the period to apply is still open. To cancel an appello already booked, select the tag Esami from the main menu and then Bacheca prenotazioni (reservations board). 14 Before proceeding with the cancellation of the appello, a confirmation is requested in the next page. To go on with the cancellation of the appello click on CONFERMA (confirmation) otherwise click on INDIETRO (back).
