Il cuore storico di una città che affaccia sul Mediterraneo, culla di un mix di tradizioni e culture, ci ha ispirati per creare la nostra collezione: Ortigia. Infatti, il suo nome deriva proprio dal centro storico di Siracusa, città siciliana alla quale è stato attribuito il titolo di centro del barocco siciliano. Ortigia e ricca di testimonianze delle varie culture che l hanno attraversata: dai greci, ai romani, agli spagnoli; da qui l ispirazione è varia e ci ha portato a richiamare riccioli, volute, fregi, ma anche piccole geometrie che si intersecano tra loro fondendo secoli di stili e storia. La collezione Ortigia si compone di 16 moduli mix 15x15 cm in gres porcellanato da pavimento e rivestimento in 4 differenti versioni di colore. Si passa dalla Blue, con note di blu di Prussia mescolate ai beige e ai grigi, alla Light Blue con un azzurro polvere, marroni e greige, per poi passare alla Green con accenti turchesi ed alla più mediterranea Red con rosso carminio, verdi e marroni. Ortigia è una linea duttile che si mescola armonicamente sia con la nostra collezione Maxe o semplicemente sposata ad altri fondi tipo legni, cementi o altre superfici moderne, creando sempre calore e richiami alla tradizione italiana. It is in the heart of this historical town, with its mixture of cultures and traditions, a city which overlooks the Mediterranean sea, where the inspiration to create Ortigia was born. Ortigia is the name of an area in the center of Siracusa, a Sicilian city. This city claims the title of the center of Sicilian baroque Ortigia is rich in the testimony of the various cultures which have passed through this region. From the Greeks to the Romans, to the Spanish. The inspiration is vast, we therefore used swirls and curls, colors and geometrical patterns which intersect with each other recalling styles and history of the past centuries. The Ortigia collection is a porcelain floor and wall tile composed by 16 mixed patterns in 4 different colors. From a Dark Prussian Blue mixed with beige and grey, to a Light Blue with dusty blues, browns and greys. The Green version has touches of turquoise and warm finishes, and the carmine Red with its greens and browns recall a Mediterranean style. Ortigia is a pliable collection which mixes harmonically with our collection Maxe, or with many different surfaces like woods, cements or any modern style tile or finish. Any environment with Ortigia will recall Italian tradition and warmth. 02
