1-ORGANIZZAZIONE La regata è organizzata dal Circolo Nautico e della Vela dell Argentario e dallo Yacht Club Italiano. 2-LOCALITÀ Specchio acqueo antistante il Porto di Cala Galera, Porto Ercole, Monte Argentario e le isole vicine. 3-AMMISSIONE Le iscrizioni sono aperte a tutti gli Yachts della Classe X-35 iscritti a Società Federate ed in regola con l Associazione di Classe. 4-PROGRAMMA Lunedi 22 Settembre Stazze e controlli sicurezza Martedi 23 Settembre 9.00-18.00 Registrazioni 19.00 - Cocktail di benvenuto Mercoledi 24 Settembre 9.00 - Skippers meeting 12.00 - Regata 19.00 - After Race Pasta Party Giovedi 25 Settembre 11.00 - Regata 20.00 - Dinner Party Venerdi 26 Settembre 11.00 - Regata Sabato 27 Settembre 11.00 - Regata 19.30 - Premiazione finale cocktail di chiusura Domenica 28 Settembre Giornata di riserva La giornata di riserva sarà usata solo se si saranno disputate meno di 6 regate. 5-ISCRIZIONI Le iscrizioni dovranno pervenire alla Segreteria dello Yacht Club Italiano entro le ore 18.00 del giorno 4 Settembre 2008, accompagnate dalla quota d iscrizione. La quota di iscrizione sarà: Euro 350,00 Il pagamento della tassa d iscrizione dovrà essere effettuato a mezzo bonifico bancario intestato allo Yacht Club Italiano, presso il Banco di San Giorgio Sede di Genova c/c 125, ABI 05526, CAB 1400 IBAN: IT45F0552601400000000000125, SWIFT/BIC: BPGGITG1. 6-REGOLAMENTI Le regate saranno disputate applicando: - il Regolamento di Regata ISAF vigente con le norme in tegrative della F.I.V.; - il Regolamento della classe X35; - il Bando di Regata; - le Istruzioni di Regata; - le ORC Special Regulations, Race Category 4; gli eventuali successivi comunicati del Comitato Organizzatore, del Comitato di Regata e della Giuria, anche a modifica del Bando e delle Istruzioni di Regata, che saranno esposti all Albo Ufficiale almeno due ore prima della partenza In caso di conflitto fra le lingue nazionali, il testo Inglese avrà la precedenza 7-GIURIA La Giuria sarà internazionale in accordanza alla regola 70.4 e all Appendice M. Tutte le decisioni della Giuria Internazionale saranno inappellabili.
X-35 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2008 NOTICE OF RACE 8-ISTRUZIONI DI REGATA Le Istruzioni di Regata saranno a disposizione dei concorrenti presso la Segreteria dello Circolo Nautico e della Vela Argentario a Cala Galera, dalle ore 09.00 del giorno 22 Settembre 2008. 9-CERTIFICATI DI STAZZA Tutti gli Yachts dovranno essere in possesso di un valido certificato di stazza, di cui copia conforme dovrà essere pre sentata alla Segreteria delle Regate al momento dell iscrizione. Il controllo di stazza sarà effettuato nei giorni 22 e 23 Settembre 2008 Ad insindacabile giu dizio del Comitato di Regata potranno essere eseguiti controlli a bordo prima e dopo ogni regata. 10-REGOLA 68 RR (DANNI) La materia riguardante i danni derivanti da una infrazione a qualche regola è disciplinata dalle prescrizioni dell Autorità Nazionale. La FIV prescrive: I concorrenti e/o le barche devono essere muniti di idonea copertura assicurativa della responsabilità civile (R.C.) per danni a terzi (cose e persone) di importo non inferiore a quanto stabilito dalla vigente normativa federale: non inferiore a Euro 1.000.000,00. Al Comitato di Regata e/o al Comitato per le Proteste spetta l accertamento dei fatti che hanno dato origine ai danni, ma essi non possono emettere decisioni in merito alle eventuali azioni di risarcimento dei danni di cui alla regola 68, o all ammontare degli stessi. 11-TESSERAMENTO F.I.V. Tutti i componenti gli equipaggi Italiani dovranno essere tesserati F.I.V. come previsto dalla Normativa Federale. I concorrenti stranieri dovranno essere in regola con quanto previsto dalle Federazioni di appartenenza. 12-PUNTEGGI Sarà adottato il Sistema di punteggio minimo previsto al punto A4.1 dell Appendice A del Regolamento ISAF 2005/2008. La classifica finale, al fine dell assegnazione del titolo, sarà valida se si saranno disputate quattro regate. The eventual subsequent notices of the Organizing Committee, of the Race Committee and of the Jury, also as modifications to the Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions, which will be posted on the official Notice Board at least two hours before the start. In case of conflict among the national languages, the English text will prevail. 7-JURY The Jury will be International, in compliance with rule 70.4 and Appendix M. All the decisions of the International Jury will be final.
X-35 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2008 NOTICE OF RACE 8-SAILING INSTRUCTIONS Sailing Instructions will be available for competitors at the Race Office of the Circolo Nautico e della Vela Argentario at Cala Galera from hrs. 9.00 a.m. on September 22nd, 2008. 9-MEASUREMENT CERTIFICATES All yachts must have a valid measurement certificate to be handed to the Race Office at the delivering of the Sailing Instructions. Measurement control will be effected on September 22 nd and 23 rd, 2008. The Measurement Committee may do further controls on board before and after each race at its discretion. 10-RULE 68 RR (DAMAGES) The matter regarding the damages resulting from an infringement to a rule is regulated by the prescriptions of the National Authority. FIV prescribes: Competitors and/or yachts must have an appropriate insurance cover for civil liability for damages to a third party (goods and persons) for an amount not lower than what stated by the current federal regulations: not lower than 1.000.000,00. It is up to the Race Committee and/or the Protest Committee to ascertain the facts that have caused the damages, but they cannot decide about eventual claims for damages, as by rule 68, or about their amount. 11-SAILING LICENSES Italian competitors must comply with F.I.V. Rules (regular membership card and medical approval). Foreign competitors must comply with all the Rules provided by their National Authority about Sailing licences. 12-SCORING Scoring will be calculated as on Low-point scoring system as per point A 4.1 of Appendix A of 2005/2008 ISAF Rules. The final scoring for the awarding of the title will be valid if four races are run. If less than six races are run, there will be no discard. 13-PRIZES Prizes for the top five Yachts classified. 14-LOGISTICS Yachts will be moored at Cala Galera and Porto Ercole, according to moorings available, from Friday 19 th to Monday 29 th September 2008. 15-SIDE EVENTS The complete programme of the side events will be communicated to competitors by posting a notice on the Official Notice Board.
