REGOLE La regata sarà disciplinata dalle Regole come definite nelle Regole di Regata dell'isaf 2005/2008 (RRS) e dalla Normativa FIV per l Attività Sportiva Nazionale in vigore. 2. PUBBLICITA La regata è classificata di categoria "C". 3. AMMISSIONE E TESSERAMENTO I concorrenti italiani dovranno essere in regola con il tesseramento FIV per l'anno 2008, con la visita medica e l'associazione di Classe. I concorrenti stranieri dovranno attenersi alla normativa delle rispettive Autorità Nazionali. Saranno ammesse le imbarcazioni della classe Finn con regolare Certificato di Stazza. 4. PROGRAMMA DELLE REGATE Prove in programma: 6. Il segnale di avviso della prima prova sarà esposto alle ore 12.25 di venerdì 03 Ottobre 2008. 5. ISCRIZIONI Il modulo d iscrizione, debitamente compilato, dovrà essere inviato entro il 28 Settembre 2008 a: Fraglia Vela Malcesine fax +39 045 6570439, e-mail: staff@fragliavela.org Il perfezionamento delle iscrizioni dovrà essere completato presso la segreteria di regata, entro le ore 11.00 di venerdì 03 Ottobre 2008. 6. TASSA ISCRIZIONE Tassa d'iscrizione: Euro 60.00. 7. ISTRUZIONI DI REGATA Le Istruzioni di regata saranno a disposizione dei regatanti presso la segreteria al perfezionamento dell iscrizione. 8. ASSICURAZIONE Le imbarcazioni dovranno essere assicurate per la responsabilità civile secondo quanto previsto dal corsivo FIV alla regola 68 del RRS, con copertura minima pari a Euro 1.000.000,00. La polizza assicurativa o valido documento sostitutivo dovrà essere consegnata alla segreteria di Regata all'atto del perfezionamento dell'iscrizione. 9. OSPITALITA Barche, carrelli e auto saranno ospitate gratuitamente al circolo da domenica 21 settembre fino al termine della regata. Al di fuori del suddetto periodo verranno applicate le tariffe del listino, attualmente in vigore. 10. PREMI Trofeo "International Finn Cup" al 1 classificato assoluto; Trofeo Andrea Menoni al 1 concorrente italiano classificato; Premi di classifica; Premi di partecipazione per tutti i concorrenti. 11. RESPONSABILITA Come da regola fondamentale 4, i partecipanti alla regata di cui al presente Bando prendono parte alla stessa sotto la loro piena ed esclusiva responsabilità, i concorrenti sono gli unici responsabili per la decisione di prendere parte o di continuare la regata. Gli Organizzatori declinano ogni e qualsiasi responsabilità per danni che possono subire persone e/o cose, sia in terra che in acqua, in conseguenza della loro partecipazione alla regata di cui al presente Bando di Regata. E competenza dei concorrenti decidere in base alle loro capacità, alla forza del vento, allo stato del mare, alle previsioni meteorologiche ed a tutto quanto altro deve essere previsto da un buon marinaio, se uscire in mare e partecipare alla regata, di continuarla ovvero di rinunciare 1

DIRITTI FOTOGRAFICI E/O TELEVISIVI I Concorrenti concedono pieno diritto e permesso all Ente Organizzatore, all Associazione di Classe e agli Sponsor di pubblicare e/o trasmettere tramite qualsiasi mezzo mediatico, ogni fotografia o ripresa filmata di persone o barche durante l evento, inclusi ma non limitati a, spot pubblicitari televisivi e tutto quanto possa essere usato per i propri scopi editoriali o pubblicitari o per informazioni stampate. 13. Per ulteriori informazioni: www.gardapass.com oppure www.malcesinepiu.it I M P O R T A N T E La Fraglia della Vela di Malcesine non dispone di area attrezzata per camper, pertanto non è consentito il parcheggio dei camper all interno del circolo, sia di giorno che di notte. E consentita solamente la sosta temporanea, per carico/scarico di barche o altra attrezzatura. * * * * * In considerazione del limitato numero di posti auto disponibili, si consiglia di raggiungere il circolo in bicicletta, utilizzando la pista ciclabile, che collega Malcesine a Navene. All interno dell area è disponibile un servizio di noleggio biciclette. Si informa che sarà rilasciato UN SOLO PASS per parcheggio gratuito al rappresentante di ogni squadra e/o equipaggio (se non appartenente ad alcuna squadra). 2

RULES The regatta will be governed by the 'Rules' as defined in the ISAF 2005/2008 (RRS) Racing Rules and in the FIV prescriptions concerning the National Sports Activities in force. 2. ADVERTISING The regatta is a Category "C". 3. ELIGIBILITY AND LICENCES Italian competitors shall submit their FIV licences valid for the year 2008 with medical stamp and Class membership. Foreign competitors shall comply with their national rules. Boats, with regular Measurement Certificate, shall be admitted. 4. SCHEDULE OF RACES Number of Races: 6. The warning signal of the first race will be displayed at 12.25 p.m. of Friday 3 th October 2008. 5. ENTRY Entries shall be submitted on the Official Entry Form not later than Sunday, September 28 th to Fraglia Vela Malcesine Race Office, Fax +39 045 6570439, e-mail staff@fragliavela.org. The completion of registration shall be made at the race office within 11.00 am of Friday 3 rd October 2008. 6. ENTRY FEES Entry fee: Euros 60.00. 7. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS Sailing Instructions will be available upon registration at the Race Office of Fraglia Vela Malcesine. 8. INSURANCE Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of Euro 1.000.000,00. The insurance or other valid substitutive document shall be submitted at the Regatta Office upon registration. 9. BOATS & TRAILERS STORAGE Boats, trailers and cars could remain at the club from Sunday, September 21 st until the end of the race. Outside the above mentioned period the tariffs of the 2008 price list will apply. 10. PRIZES "Finn Cup" Trophy to the first classified; Andrea Menoni Trophy to the first Italian sailor classified; Prizes for the final scoring; Commemorative prizes to all the competitors. 11. DISCLAIMER Competitors agree to be bound by International Sailing Federations Racing Rules of Sailing 2005/2008 and the Notice of Race. Competitors agree to take any and all responsibility for the nautical qualities of their yacht, the rigging, the crew's ability, and the safety equipment. They also agree to take any and all responsibility for damages caused to third persons or their belongings, to themselves or to their belongings, ashore and at sea as a consequence of their participation in the International Finn Cup, relieving of any responsibility the Organising Authority and all persons involved in the 1

organisation under whatever qualification and to accept full responsibility for the behaviour and dress of the yacht's crew, representatives and guests. Competitors are acquainted with Racing Rules of Sailing 2005/2008 Fundamental Rule 4 Decision to Race: The responsibility for a boat's decision to participate in a race or to continue racing is hers alone. 12. Photographs and TV Rights By participating in the International Finn Cup, a competitor automatically grants to the Organising Authority, the Class Association, Management Group and the Sponsor the right in perpetuity to make use of and show, at their discretion, any motion pictures, still photographs, live or taped film or video on television and/or other media, showing him/her during the period of the competition, as well as to use such contents in any media whatsoever, for either editorial or advertising purposes or to be used in press information without compensation. IMPORTANT Please note that due to local parking restrictions it is not possible to park Camper Vans within the confines of the Fraglia either during the day or overnight. If you are arriving with a Camper Van you have permission to unload at the Fraglia but must immediately move your vehicle to your reserved campsite. * * * * * Taking into consideration the limited number of parking spaces available, we highly recommend that competitors, trainers and spectators use the cycle path which connects Malcesine to Navene via the Fraglia Vela. Arriving by bike not only is environmentally friendly, but will also help with the parking and traffic during Regattas. Hire bikes are readily available if you do not have your own. We would remind you that ONLY ONE PARKING PASS will be issued to each team or boat competing in Regattas at our base in Navene. 2
