C. ~ Input Filter (FILTER) + DC / DC Converter Battery connection output TRANSFORMER (TRASFO-0U) VB IB VC Internal Microprocessor Control Card (CONTROL) Fig. Block Diagram S The Switching Power Module (PWMOD-0) rectifies the transformer voltage and it also makes a DC/DC conversion. The output of the DC/DC converter is connected to the battery to be charged. The value of charging current depends on the control signal (Vc) that is provided by the Microprocessor Internal Control Card (CONTROL). Vc is related to the actual values of the battery voltage (VB) and battery current (IB) that are inputs of the control card. The Internal Microprocessor Control Card controls the charging process with the particular charging curve set by the dipswitch configuration and displays the most important parameters of the charging cycle.
