Le piastre metalliche utilizzate sono di spessore tale da permettere lavorazioni meccaniche di foratura ed, eventualmente, di filettatura necessarie per il montaggio. L utilizzo delle barre antivibranti è consigliato soprattutto in presenza di sollecitazioni a compressione di notevole intensità; inoltre, garantendo il movimento del sistema elastico in ogni direzione, risulta estremamente versatile.
