canova Lampadario non lampadario É questo un oggetto-luce che assomiglia ad un lampadario. Si possono vedere dei bracci, anche se non sono bracci. In realtà si tratta di una struttura metallica assai semplice che sostiene degli elementi di vetro. Questi elementi, i riccioli, sono moduli fatti con il vetro cristallo di Murano. Sono fatti dello stesso vetro della tradizione veneziana ma non sono soffiati, sono stesi a caldo su una sagoma metallica così da prenderne la forma. In questo lampadario i tradizionali bracci non ci sono, l asta centrale è ridotta ad un piccolo supporto che va al soffitto, la coppa centrale dove si infilano i bracci non esiste. Al suo posto c è solo un vuoto. C è invece una struttura che può avere mille forme e dimensioni su cui i riccioli di vetro danno l aspetto finale, come foglie e fiori su un albero. Gli elementi di vetro sono apparentemente uguali, ma ognuno è differente dall altro per la sua lavorazione manuale. L idea è dettata da esperienza e osservazione. E una chiave che permette di presentare oggetti che si rifanno alla tradizione veneziana ma sono composti con elementi del tutto differenti. Questo modo di vedere ha permesso di allontanare lo sguardo dalle cose consuete ed ha prodotto questi oggetti molto vivaci dove forma e colore possono solo rallegrarci. There is a structure that may take a thousand different shapes and dimensions, on which glass curls give the finishing touch, like leaves and flowers on a tree. Though apparently identical, each glass element is different due to its handmade manufacturing process. The idea originated from experience and observation. Through it can be created objects that go back to the Venetian tradition but are composed of completely different elements.
