Questi Stage, della durata di una settimana l uno, sono articolati in lezioni teoriche, laboratori, esercitazioni pratiche, videotapes, etc. che insegnanti del College of Dentistry della NYU o Relatori di fama espressamente invitati preparano e svolgono su diversi temi odontoiatrici. Gli Stages sono a numero chiuso e sono organizzati con un servizio di TRADUZIONE IN ITALIANO, dando così la possibilità di seguire le lezioni anche a chi non parla correntemente la lingua Inglese. La New York University rilascia un attestato di partecipazione alla fine di ogni settimana di lezioni. New York University College of Dentistry Current Concepts in American Dentistry WRITTEN REPORT REQUIREMENT Lo scopo del Current Concepts in American Dentistry Written Report Final Thesis è di fornire al partecipante l opportunità di studiare a fondo una specifica area dell odontoiatria per lui di particolare interesse. La Tesi Finale, in tutto simile ad un a tesi delle lauree brevi italiane (MINIMO 30 MAX 50 pagine) può consistere di: - una revisione della letteratura - una ricerca indipendente, - casi clinici trattati - una combinazione di queste possibilità. La sequenza di presentazione è la seguente: 1. Completare il modulo WRITTEN REPORT REQUIREMENT di PAGINA 9 per riassumere il progetto di tesi finale da voi proposto e sottoporlo al Direttore del Programma prof. H.K.BEACHAM a mezzo fax al numero: 001.212.995.4981, e al dott. RAVAZZOLO FAX 0421-280058 in occasione della SECONDA SETTIMANA DI FREQUENZA. Il vostro progetto di tesi finale verrà esaminato e vi verrà data risposta a mezzo fax entro due settimane. 2. Una volta approvato potrete iniziare la stesura della tesi con la consulenza di un Tutor o del dott. Ravazzolo. 3. La tesi verrà presentata da voi, in via preliminare e solo come Progress per nel corso della QUARTA SETTIMANA di frequenza al programma CURRENT CONCEPTS IN AMERICAN DENTISTRY presso il New York University College of Dentistry, a New York. Dovrete in questa occasione presentare brevemente (5/10 minuti) senza audiovisivi l oggetto della tesi, l ipotesi di lavoro o la tipologia dei casi clinici e delle metodiche impiegate. Al termine del ciclo di frequenza di 6 settimane potrete presentare la tesi finale alla presenza del Direttore del Programma, di Faculty del College of Dentistry, del vostro Tutor di riferimento e dei colleghi che seguono il vostro stesso programma. Avrete a disposizione 15/20 minuti per la presentazione avvalendovi di sussidi audiovisivi idonei (diapositive o CD): seguirà discussione aperta ai colleghi presenti e moderata dal Tutor presente o da quello scelto per la presentazione. 6.
