17 (*) Il Corso di Tecniche in Chirurgia Vascolare propone una metodologia didattica eminentemente pratica La partecipazione viene sempre limitata a 20 allievi per ogni Corso in modo da privilegiare un insegnamento personalizzato e favorire i contatti fra i partecipanti e i docenti. Gli esercizi pratici sono realizzati su modelli preparati appositamente, e su materiali che riproducono fedelmente i vari dettagli anatomici in modo da poter controllare l'accuratezza dei particolari aspetti tecnici. A disposizione di ognuno dei partecipanti ci sono video-monitor per seguire direttamente i gesti chirurgici del docente e poterli poi riprodurre in tempo reale sui modelli, mentre altri docenti (i cosiddetti tutors) seguono da vicino gli esercizi eseguiti dagli allievi al fine di controllarne l'operato e correggere gli eventuali errori. 17
