The façades feature a pulsating, interactive sequence of golden elements and sections in clear glass. A fracture of light breaks through the regularity of the golden elements and crosses the façades, creating a dazzling bond between the buildings. This is the project s distinctive Sign. Gli edifici interagiscono attraverso un architettura tecnologica progettata da Progetto CMR Massimo Roj Architects. Sulle facciate, lame dorate si alternano a trasparenze in vetro, in una sequenza viva e interattiva. Being able to avail of a variety of natural spaces for public and private meetings makes for a unique and dynamic work experience. Green pathways branching out of the square accompany the user into the buildings. They lead to the podium - a green area reserved for tenants - and unexpectedly rise up to the rooftop, whose terraces take the form of landscaped gardens overlooking the horizon and providing a striking view of Milan. pag_25 Dalla piazza ai giardini panoramici. 17 pag_32 SYSTEMS The Sign has adopted a radiant heating and cooling ceiling system that ensures the non-invasive distribution of fluids, thus optimising the interior climate. The offices are air-conditioned via primary air distribution and radiant plasterboard ceilings. The simultaneous presence of two fluids makes it possible to switch zone automatically and feed the radiant ceilings with the most appropriate fluid depending on the conditions of the internal environment. Supplementary fan coils are also provided in areas characterised by peak radiation load. These are also fed by a four-pipe network with 6 way-switching valves so as to deliver faster heating. Primary air is introduced by means of linear diffusers along the perimeter of the ceiling. These are fitted with self-regulating shutters that can also be controlled manually, according to need and based on any layout changes, in order to ensure suitable air circulation in relation to the actual foot traffic in the area. The rooftop of the buildings are fitted with photovoltaic panels. The Building Management System optimises and controls the airconditioning, lighting, fire alarm and intrusion detection systems. The Sign ha adottato la soluzione a soffitto radiante caldo/freddo che permette una distribuzione del fluido non invasiva, a favore di un maggior comfort climatico interno. Gli uffici sono climatizzati con impianto misto aria primaria e soffitti radianti in gesso. Grazie alla presenza contemporanea dei due fluidi, sono previste commutazioni automatiche di zona per l alimentazione dei soffitti radianti con il fluido più appropriato in relazione alle condizioni dell ambiente interno. Sono previsti fan coil integrativi a tutto ricircolo nei punti caratterizzati da massimo carico d irraggiamento, che saranno comunque alimentati da una rete a quattro tubi con valvole a 6 vie di commutazione, in modo da poter fornire in fase di riscaldamento una più veloce messa a regime. L aria primaria è immessa mediante diffusori lineari perimetrali, ciascuno stacco è dotato di serranda autoregolante con possibilità di controllo manuale, in funzione delle modifiche del lay-out, per assicurare il corretto ricambio igienico in relazione all effettivo affollamento. In copertura degli edifici è presente un impianto fotovoltaico. Il Building Management System garantisce ottimizzazione e controllo di condizionamento e illuminazione.
