Short CV Francesco Scaglione is an Associate Professor (who has also passed the fullprofessorship qualifying examination) at the Department of Economics of the University of Perugia, where he currently teaches Private Law. He has also taught Economics of Private Law at the same institution in the Master s degree course in Legal and Economic Consultancy for Business (course on Competition Law). He also teaches Private Law within the degree in International Economics of Tourism, in Assisi (Perugia). Moreover, he is a member of the Academic Board of the International Ph.D. Program in Consumer Law at the University of Perugia, and has been a member of the Academic Board of the International Ph.D. Program in Knowledge-based society and common market discipline. Interdisciplinary profiles of the European and international integration process at the University of Perugia. In 2012 he was appointed by ANVUR (National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes) as a peer-review expert for the Evaluation of the Quality of Research. He is also the scientific coordinator of the Bilateral Agreement - LLP Erasmus between the University of Perugia and the University of Madrid Francisco de Vitoria, as well as a research staff member of the Jean Monnet project IR&RI (Individual Rights & Regional Integration). He has taught Competition Law of the European Union for graduate students at the Professional School Euro-Mediterranean Studies 2012 of the Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI), in Slovenia. Since 2002 he has also been teaching Law of Succession for graduate students at the Notarial School of both Regions of Umbria and the Marche Baldo degli Ubaldi. He is a member of the Scientific Board of the Diritto e Processo Law Yearbook of the University of Perugia. He is also a member of the Law and Economic Studies Institute Gioacchino Scaduto Ltd., a spin-off of the University of Perugia that has as its objective the use of business results of both legal and economic research. His research activity focuses on Contract Law and European Competition Law, as well as Family Law. He is currently working on filiation and childhood issues in Europe and on contracts. He is the author of many scientific publications, including seven books ( La filiazione e i minori, with A. Sassi and S.
