In modalità ripetitore, il dispositivo si mette in contatto con la rete esistente e trasmette le informazioni dal client al router. Condivisione dei file e delle connessioni Internet in punti al di là della portata del router. Wireless access point Collegamento del ripetitore direttamente ad un modem o un router per aggiungere la funzionalità di rete wireless. Client wireless Collegamento di dispositivi di rete, come un PC o lettori DVD e televisori di nuova generazione, ad una rete esistente e utilizzo di funzioni Internet aggiuntive.

C r e a z i o n e d i u n a c o n n e s s i o n e Interfaccia Web Si consiglia di eseguire l accesso tramite l interfaccia Web al fine di utilizzare le configurazioni avanzate per il ripetitore. Collegare il ripetitore ad un PC o notebook tramite un cavo LAN. Assicurarsi che il computer sia impostato per ricevere l IP (assegnazione automatica di un indirizzo IP da un server DHCP). Aprire un browser Web e digitare http://repeater o 192.168.2.254 nella barra dell indirizzo. Il ripetitore chiede di inserire un nome utente e una password. Utente: admin Password: 1234 Dopo aver fatto clic su OK, si accede alla configurazione rapida del ripetitore wireless. Seguire le istruzioni e le impostazioni sullo schermo. La procedura di configurazione rapida può variare in base all impostazione selezionata per il ripetitore wireless. Quando il ripetitore è stato impostato per la modalità desiderata, lasciare il dispositivo in attesa per 5 minuti. Il ripetitore può quindi essere spento e collegato alla rete elettrica in una posizione diversa. Le impostazioni vengono mantenute. W P S ( W i - f i P r o t e c t e d S e t u p ) Utilizzare il pulsante WPS per connettersi a un router o un access point wireless a banda larga. 1) Tenere premuto il pulsante WPS sul ripetitore per 2 secondi. 2) Il LED WPS inizia a lampeggiare. 3) Premere il pulsante WPS sul router o access point a cui ci si vuole connettere entro 2 minuti. Quando il ripetitore è stato impostato per la modalità desiderata, lasciare il dispositivo in attesa per 5 minuti. Il ripetitore può quindi essere spento e collegato alla rete elettrica in una posizione diversa. Le impostazioni vengono mantenute.
