PRIMAVERA ESTATE 011 Racconto di un mondo fantasy, sfondo di una nuova avventura. Il mare con le sue infinite tonalità, dagli azzurri chiari fino al blu degli abissi e dei fondali dove nascono gli incontri più inaspettati. Pesci giganti, come dragoni, pronti ad essere domati da ragazzini audaci e divertiti. I giochi estivi lasciano il segno sulle superfici dei capi: tessuti scoloriti dal sole e segnati dalla salsedine. Conseguenze dei trattamenti speciali, fil rouge dell intera collezione. Contaminazioni tra mondi diversi per puntare sulla funzionalità e sulle molteplici possibilità di occasione d uso. Un estetica informale che risponde alle diverse esigenze: della città, dei momenti di gioco con gli amici e della vacanza al mare. Le suggestioni di ispirazione militare, i dettagli tecnici di capi da vela adattati anche alla vita quotidiana; i suggerimenti del mondo del lavoro dei grandi dal quale prendere spunti per rendere un capo sorprendente. Liquid Reflective Jacket, ispirata dal linguaggio dei capi ad alta visibilità per la sicurezza sul lavoro. La giacca rifrange fortemente la luce quando è investita da fonti luminose, anche se molto deboli. Realizzata da Stone Island nel 91, è riproposta oggi con nuove tecniche. Il tessuto è spalmato con migliaia di microsfere di vetro e poi spruzzato a mano, a capo finito, per creare sulla superficie un effetto liquido e disomogeneo. Un segnale luminoso che ricorre anche nei cappucci delle maglie, nei colletti delle polo o nei dettagli dei 5 tasche in denim. Ripstop di cotone, o di nylon, placcato, delavé e sovrattinto in capo, per field jacket, bomber, gilet e shorts. Il cotone, spalmato artigianalmente, crea un effetto gesso, materico e opaco, su overshirt, denim e pantaloncini. Capi tinti e decolorati a mano per ottenere un effetto vissuto, in tutte le categorie di prodotto: capispalla, felpe, camicie e 5 tasche. Giochi di colore per t-shirt, shorts e costumi, che sfumano da un colore all altro tramite una tintura in capo ad immersione manuale. Il jeans, caratterizzato dallo storico badge sulla tasca posteriore, è come quello dei grandi: regular o slim, è graffiato, stone washed e degradé. Grafiche Schizzi e cartoon fantasy di barracuda, pesci palla o meduse, stampate su T-shirt e costumi. Interpretazioni del logo Stone Island e della Rosa dei Venti scomposta e ricomposta con grafiche nuove. Colori I blu in tutte le gradazioni. Verde militare, bianco e grigio Rosso, giallo, verde e azzurro brillanti, che diventano pastello quando sono bruciati dal sole.
SPRING SUMMER 011 Our next adventure takes us into a fantasy world that s wild and wonderful. The sea surges in every shade of blue, from the palest azure to the darkest sapphire depths of the sea-bed where unexpected encounters lie in wait. Kids who know no fear play at taming fish as big and scary as dragons. Summer games leave their mark on clothes in fabrics faded by sun and salt water. These special treatments appear consistently throughout the collection. Different worlds meet and mingle, with a focus on functionality and versatility. Casual looks suiting every need and occasion, whether it s kids urban lifestyle, hanging out with buddies, or going on a beachside vacation. There s a dash of military styling and a hint of yachting gear, toned down for everyday outfits. As well as the occasional concept borrowed from grown-up workwear, to surprising effect. The Liquid Reflective Jacket clearly draws its inspiration from high-visibility safety gear. The jacket brilliantly reflects even the faintest light. Stone Island first introduced the jacket in 91, and now it s back thanks to a whole new technology. The fabric is coated with thousands of glass micro-spheres, then the finished garment is hand-sprayed to create a blurry, liquid-look surface. The same reflective finish appears in sweater hoods, polo shirt collars and the details of 5-pocket denim jeans. Field jackets, bomber jackets, vests and shorts come in cotton or nylon that s ripstopped, textured, delavé and garment over-dyed. Craftsman-coated cotton creates a chalky, matt, textured effect in overshirts, jeans and shorts. Hand-dyed and faded styles have a preloved look across all product categories: jackets, fleecy tops, shorts and jeans. T-shirts, shorts and swimwear come in a riot of colours created by hand-soaking and garment dyeing. Jeans sporting the classic Stone Island badge on the back pocket are an exact replica of the grown-up version: regular or slim-fit, the denim is scratched, stone washed and degradé.
