PV MODULE The module is composed of polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic cells, with a rated power of 250W (60 cells), which is fixed on top of a metallic structure self-supporting, made of aluminum, that allows high resistance to wind pressure and at the same time, because adjustable, allowing optimal positioning (to the south). The inclination (45 ) * is able to take full advantage from solar radiation in all seasons. The quality of the panels ensures operation of 80% of the initial characteristics of an average duration of 25 years.
BATTERY The AGM batteries require no maintenance, are installed inside the aluminum box, positioned behind the PV module. The nominal voltage is 12 Volts DC, and the capacity is 100Ah. The autonomy is about 4 nights of operation (the data refer to full-load battery for continuous power 12 hours / night).
ELECTRONIC MONITORING AND REGULATION The characteristics of the electronic circuit are the following: Management and control of charging / maintenance of the battery (+ PWM MPPT) of the electrical current supplied by the PV module during the hours of sunlight. Management and control of the discharge of the battery during the operating hours of lighting, intervention with automatic shut-off in case of exceeding the minimum threshold. Management and control of power on / off of lamps according to the programmed settings (sunrise / sunset, etc. 10-12 hours.). The board is equipped with two LEDs (green and red) that indicate the various stages of operation.
BOX FOR ELECTRONIC BOARD The aluminum case containing the control unit, is fixed to the box, which acts as a dissipator. On the container of the card, there are 3 cable glands which provide IP 55 sealing. SUGGESTED POLE The PV kit with road armor shall be mounted on a conical or tapered pole made of steel according to EN 10219 1-2 and hot-dip galvanized according to EN ISO 146, with pole head Ø89mm.
