Dal quattro al sei luglio scorsi era prevista la tre giorni in quel di Passaggio di Bettona (PG), per lo svolgimento della quarta edizione della Festa del purosangue arabo in Umbria, un concorso internazionale di classe B A.N.I.C.A. E.C.A.H.O. Patrocinato dal comune di Bettona, il comitato Amici del PSA in Umbria ed il sig. Walter Betti si sono prodigati per la buona riuscita della manifestazione. Il tempo inclemente ha impedito lo svolgimento delle categorie previste nel pomeriggio del venerdì ma, nonostante la necessità di stravolgere il programma previsto per la giornata di sabato, tutto è stato gestito al meglio, sia nei tempi che nei modi. Molti gli ospiti nazionali ed internazionali, specie dal Medio Oriente, sono intervenuti a questa bella manifestazione che si è svolta in un clima assolutamente sereno, aspetto, questo, che dovrebbe essere una costante in ogni manifestazione ma che spesso viene soppiantato da una insana tensione negativa. Complimenti agli organizzatori ed all ottimo lavoro svolto The fourth edition of Festa del purosangue arabo, an international B competition recognized by A.N.I.C.A. E.C.A.H.O., was held in Passaggio di Bettona (Perugia) from July 4th to 6th. Supported by the Municipality of Bettona, the Amici del PSA committee (Friends of the PBA) and Walter Betti did their utmost to turn the event into a success. Due to bad weather it was not possible to go ahead with the categories scheduled for Friday afternoon but despite the unexpected event and the need to revolutionize the program for Saturday, everything was managed really well, from timings to methods. Many national and international guests, especially from the Middle East, took part in this lovely event, which was characterized by an extremely peaceful atmosphere, something that should be a regular feature of every event but that is often replaced by an unhealthy negative tension. Congratulations to the organizers and to the judges for their excellent job, whose final scores obviously satsfied every participant, winners and losers alike. Fillies 1 year old dalla giuria, il cui responso finale ha evidentemente soddisfatto tutti i partecipanti, sia vincitori che vinti. Tornando alla giuria, cinque figure internazionali si sono avvicendate nelle varie categorie, dal dr. Nico Jung dalla Germania, alla sig.ra Sharzad Amir Alani dall Iran, al sig. Basil Jadaan dalla Siria, all ing. Marco Pittaluga e al sig. Pierluigi Rota dall Italia. Non molto numerose ma molto belle le categorie che Anthara 2 Pl. Fillies 2 years old gories. They were Dr. Nico Jung from Germany, Mrs. Sharzad Amir Alani from Iran, Mr. Basil Jadaan from Syria, Mr. Marco Pittaluga and Mr. Pierluigi Rota from Italy. Questo affascinante stallone è di proprietà del sig. Gianpaolo Gubbiotti. Impressionante il numero dei soggetti, maschi e femmine, iscritti a partecipare alla categoria Futurity. Altrettanto incredibile la qualità presente in campo e non solo nelle femmine, generalmente più pronte dei maschietti. Arduo il compito dei giudici che hanno assegnato il primo posto all unanimità, nelle femmine, alla bella *CS Amay (Royal Colours x CS Opportunity) del sig. Marco Sensi. Al secondo posto si è classificata *AS Manila (Windsprees Mirage x Magic Delice) di proprietà dell A.A. The last category to compete, featuring stallions over- 10 saw on the top step of the podium the chestnut *FS Eternal Flame (Kubinec x Temptress MSC) with an excellent performance, well presented by Paolo Capecci and owned by Gianpaolo Gubbiotti. He was followed by *Debowiec (Monogramm x Debowka) presented by Paolo Capecci and owned by the Dubai Arabian Horse Stud (UAE), whereas the third place was awarded to the twenty-year-old *Orashaan (Maysoun x Orasha), for which the years seem never to pass. This charming stallion is owned by Mr. Gianpaolo Gubbiotti. The number of male and female horses competing in the Futurity category was impressive. Similary, the quality of the horses was incredible and not only among female horses, which are generally more active than males. The judges had the tough task of choosing the winner of the top place, and they opted for the beautiful *CS Amay (Royal Colours x CS Opportunity) of Mr. Marco Sensi. The second place went to *AS Manila (Windsprees Mirage x Magic Delice) owned by the Le Quercette stud whereas *Rose Of Amir (Amir Ashiraf x Miss Rose L) of Mr. Leonardo Rainoldi was third. Among males, the top place went to another son of the World Champion Royal Colours, the typey *TF Romeo (x DA Alima) of Francesco Tripodi s stud farm.
