STELO RETTO PER ANCA NON CEMENTATO S-TAPER Concetti biomeccanici consolidati, progettazione e scelta dei materiali uniti alla disponibilità di una tecnologia ad alto contenuto qualitativo hanno permesso di rispondere alle esigenze dell ortopedia moderna. Tutto questo con indubitabili vantaggi per il paziente. DESCRIZIONE TECNICO GEOMETRICA: FORO PER ESTRAZIONE EXTRACTION HOLE Lo stelo S-TAPER è uno stelo retto che permette un facile inserimento ed un efficace ancoraggio. Si caratterizza per: Forma conica in antero-posteriore e laterale in modo da garantire un ancoraggio non solo nella parte prossimale o distale del femore ma su tutta la porzione dell alloggio della protesi. Dimensionamento graduale di tutta la protesi, all aumentare della taglia, collo, larghezza e spessore aumentano in proporzione. Estremità distale della protesi arrotondata per permettere un inserimento facilitato. 2 fori per la rimozione, uno filettato assiale all apice dello stelo ed uno in antero-posteriore. Ciò permette una facilità eventuale di estrazione in quanto si hanno due possibilità. Lo stelo S-TAPER permette di rispettare la biomeccanica articolare: angolo CCD e CCD. È in linea con le normative europee con cono morse standard 12/14 con angolo 5 42 30 con approvazione CERAMTEC. MATERIALI: Lo stelo in Titanio a basso modulo di elasticità (capacità di tollerare una deformazione temporanea sotto sforzo) favorisce un equilibrata distribuzione del carico su tutte le aree circostanti, senza concentrazione dello sforzo su nessuna specifica area o elemento analogamente a quanto accade in un femore intatto e sano. La lega di Titanio (TI 6Al 7Nb) è conforme alla normativa ISO 5832-11. Si caratterizza per: Elevato grado di purezza del materiale ottenuta grazie al processo ELI (Extra Low Interstitial) che ne aumenta la capacità di evitare la propagazione di cricche per fatica. Ottima biocompatibilità. Ottima resistenza alla corrosione. Ottima resistenza meccanica. FINITURA: Per incrementare l osteointegrazione senza l utilizzo di rivestimenti porosi in addizione, lo stelo S-TAPER viene finito utilizzando una corindonatura estremamente rugosa garantendo una Ra 5-7 µ. 2

With obvious benefits fot the patient. TECHNICAL / GEOMETRICAL DESCRIPTION: The S- is a straight stem that s easy to implant and anchor. It s characterized by its: Conical shape in the antero-posterior and lateral planes, ensuring anchorage not only in the proximal or distal part of the femur but on the entire portion of the prosthesis housing. Graded sizing of the entire prosthesis; width and thickness increase in proportion to the size of the neck. Rounded distal extremity of the prosthesis is to facilitate insertion. Two holes for removal, one threaded axial at the top of the stem and one in an antero-posterior position, thus providing two possible ways to remove the stem if necessary. Compatibility with the biomechanics of the articulation (CCD and ). Compliance with European Standards, with a standard 12/14 morse taper (5 42 30 ) with CERAMTEC approval. MATERIALS: FORO FILETTATO PER ESTRAZIONE THREADED EXTRACTION HOLE The prosthesis is made of titanium with a low elasticity modulus (can tolerate temporary deformation under stress) to encourage balanced load distribution over all the surrounding areas.
