2 Sin dagli inizi l'uomo si è accostato all architettura, come alla sua fabbrica ; già da oltre anni il luogo dell essere spazio, è stato visto dovunque secondo ragioni e necessità, figlie di scelte intelligenti ed appropriate, sia per le qualità tecniche ed economiche, sia per quelle formali, in relazione al linguaggio dell'architettura del proprio tempo nel proprio luogo. In questo frangente temporale, diviene il migliore segno della sostenibilità, il produrre per ogni luogo una appropriata capacità propositivo/progettuale coerente con il suo spazio. In ogni tempo e ogni luogo, infatti, gli uomini appartenenti a civiltà molto diverse riconobbero nell'architettura e nel suo contesto, qualità che nessuna altra tecnologia presentava: adattabilità alle diverse caratteristiche climatiche ed ambientali; basso consumo di energie per la costruzione dell'edificio e per la sua gestione; possibilità di ricuperarne parti o di modificarne l'assetto; trasformabilità e qualità prestazionali. Attraverso i secoli, la storia di alcune tecnologie e magisteri dell architettura conserva saperi sorprendenti, che noi non solo abbiamo il dovere di preservare ma soprattutto innovare per il trasferimento ad un fattivo futuro. Riscoprirli equivale certo ad una novità, ma con innovata tecnologia. Conoscere il mezzo, può aprire un ventaglio di opportunità, nuove capacità espressive, nuovi scenari di fattiva progettualità sperimentale per la realizzazione di nuovi contesti urbani a misura d uomo. Ecco la costituzione dello STUDIOANGELICO ARCHITETTURA&DESIGN, gruppo di tecnici e professionisti tra Architettura ed Ingnegneria che riconoscono nelle peculiarità espresse, le logiche del proprio fare tecnologia, dal recupero all Architettura a più ampio respiro (con le dovute ricadute), dalla piccola alla grande scala, passando per l interior design. Since the beginning the human being approached architecture as to its construction ; For over years the location in its space dimension has been considered everywhere according to reasons and needs, emerging from intelligent and appropriate choices, either for its technical and economical qualities or in relation with the architectural language of its time in its geographical location. Nowadays, the best sign of sustainability is to realize for every location of an appropriate design capacity in coherence with its space. In every time and every place humans, belonging to very different civilities, recognized in architecture and in its contest, qualities that no other technology entails: adaptability to the different climate and environmental conditions; low energy consumption for building s construction and its management; possibility to recover parts or modify the asset; conversion capacity and performance qualities. Across the centuries the history of several technologies and architectural skills, preserves a remarkable knowledge that we have the duty not only to preserve but, above all, to innovate in order to transform it in an effective future. Re-discover these skills and technologies with innovative technology represents a brand new activity. An in-depth into this knowledge of the mean open up a wide range of opportunities, new expressive capacities and new sceneries of experimental design of projects of new customized urban settings. From 1987 he takes part to the studies and research at the Isituto di Disegno industriale (Institute of Industrial Design) in Palermo organized by Prof. A.M. Fundarò, becoming Assistant Professor for the degree courses in Architecture Technology and "Industrial Museum planning and layout" -"Disegno I and II"; In 1994 he is Professor Assistant at the Specialization School of Industrial Design at the University of Palermo. In 1995, PhD in Industrial Design of Figurative Art end applicative (Industrial Design) awarded at the Politechnico di Milano. From 1996 he is Professor at the Faculty of Architecture for the course of Morphologic of component and Ergonomic. His studies and research are about the new frontiers of design and architecture, on materials, products, and new technologies. From 2005 he is researcher at the D.C.P.E. (Department of Costruzione e Produzione Edilizia) at the University of Palermo and teaches at the University Pole of Agrigento (C.U.P.A) the course of ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN and EXECUTIVE 'S ARCHITECTURE DESIGN. His professional experience ranges from private to public assignements, such as the restoration of a part of the Historical Center of Palermo (block n 3 of Albergheria), the Station of the Carabinieri at Isola delle Femmine (PA); the Riuso/restauro of the sicilian sighting towers of the 500; a mobile cover for the Spasimo in Palermo. By private side there are several architectural projects or restyling of private homes and villas he some jobs of street furniture and civil room.
