5 Il Gruppo The Group Duferdofin Nucor nasce nel 2008 da una joint venture tra due grandi leader del settore siderurgico: Duferco Group, e Nucor Corporation. Oggi Duferdofin Nucor, con sede a San Zeno Naviglio, è il punto di riferimento in Italia, Europa e Nord Africa per la produzione di travi. Il gruppo conta quattro unità produttive che coprono l intera produzione dall acciaio liquido al prodotto finito: San Zeno Naviglio in provincia di Brescia, Giammoro in provincia di Messina, Pallanzeno in provincia di Verbania e San Giovanni Valdarno in provincia di Arezzo. Tutti gli stabilimenti sono raccordati con linea autostradale e ferroviaria, e grazie anche all accesso al mare ed ai magazzini Acofer di San Zeno, Giammoro e S. Giovanni Valdarno, Duferdofin Nucor garantisce servizi tempestivi e di qualità sul mercato nazionale ed internazionale. Duferdofin Nucor, con i suoi 750 dipendenti, ha una capacità produttiva di circa tonnellate all anno di prodotti lunghi, ed è sempre più orientata verso la produzione di profili speciali e acciai di qualità per la forgiatura e la laminazione. Duferdofin - Nucor was founded in 2008 by a joint venture between two major steel industry leaders: Duferco Group, and Nucor Corporation. Today Duferdofin - Nucor, headquartered in San Zeno Naviglio, is the landmark in Italy, Europe and North Africa for the production of beams. The group has four production units which hold the complete production chain from liquid steel to finished products: San Zeno Naviglio situated in Brescia, Giammoro in Messina, Pallanzeno in Verbania and San Giovanni Valdarno in Arezzo. All plants are connected by highway and rail line, and thanks to the access to the sea and Acofer warehouses in San Zeno, Giammoro and S. Giovanni Valdarno, Duferdofin - Nucor guarantees timely and quality services on the domestic and international market. Duferdofin - Nucor, with its 750 employees, has a production capacity of approximately 950,000 tons per year of hot rolled long products, and it s more and more oriented towards the production of special profiles and quality steel for forging and rolling. 5

Acofer is the distribution company of the Duferdofin-Nucor group, the first distributor of beams and one of the first distributors of long products in Italy. It operates through three warehouses in Italy: located in San Zeno Naviglio (BS), San Giovanni Valdarno (AR) and Giammoro (ME). Thanks to the location of its warehouses, the Company is able to cover the Italian market with an efficient, low-cost structure. 7

9 Il processo nasce nello stabilimento di San Zeno Naviglio, dove vengono prodotti semiprodotti di sezione tonda, quadra, rettangolare e dog bone per laminazione o stampaggio diretto a caldo. Le principali dotazioni impiantistiche dell acciaieria sono costituite da un forno elettrico da 100 t con un trasformatore da 100 MVA, un fuori forno, un impianto di degassaggio e due colate continue. La gamma delle marche abitualmente prodotte va da tutte le qualità per la rilaminazione negli acciai strutturali alle principali tipologie di acciai di qualità per stampaggio e forgiatura. La capacità di produzione dell impianto è di tonnellate/anno di acciaio di cui il 50% comune e il 50% speciale; da qui inizia la linea di produzione che continua nei laminatoi di Pallanzeno e Giammoro. The process begin in San Zeno plant, where round, square, rectangular sections and dog bone semi-finished are produced, for rolling or direct hot forging. Main equipments of the steel plant consists of an electric furnace of 100 t, a 100 MVA transformer, a ladle furnace, a vacuum degassing plant and two continuous castings machines. The range of steel grades usually produced goes from steel for rerolling structural sections up to quality steel for hot forging. 13 Lo stabilimento di Pallanzeno (TPP) ha una capacità produttiva di ton all anno; è dotato di un treno di laminazione, un centro di finitura, magazzini per lo stoccaggio e la spedizione di prodotti finiti attraverso un raccordo ferroviario. Questa unità produttiva è specializzata nella laminazione della gamma piccola e media di travi HE ed IPE, profili UPN angolari, IPN e di profili speciali per la trattoristica destinati anche a fornire la divisione meccanica di San Giovanni Valdarno. Pallanzeno plant (TPP) has a production capacity of 500 K t/ year; it s equipped with a rolling mill, a finishing centre, warehouses for storing and a finished products shipping through a railway connection. This production unit is specialized in the hot rolling process of the small and medium range of HE and IPE beams, UPN equal and unequal angles, IPN and earth moving special profiles, also intended to provide the mechanical division of San Giovanni Valdarno. 13

23 L unità produttiva di Giammoro (ME) è dotata di una ferrovia interna, collegata alla rete ferroviaria nazionale, ed è in progetto la realizzazione di un pontile per la ricezione dei semiprodotti e la spedizione dei prodotti finiti via mare. Lo stabilimento di Giammoro ha una capacità produttiva pari a ton all anno, ed è dotato di un treno travi DEMAG specializzato nella laminazione di HE ed IPE di media e grande dimensione, profili speciali per la trattoristica, destinati anche all approvigionamento di San Giovanni Valdarno e profili speciali per piste di rotolamento. Lo stabilimento è poi provvisto di un centro di finitura. Giammoro production unit is equipped with an internal railroad connected to the national railway network and it is planned a construction of a wharf for the reception of semi-products and the delivery by sea of finished products. Giammoro plant has a production capacity of 450 K t/ year and has the DEMAG beams mill specialized in the hot rolling of big and medium size HE and IPE beams, heavy earth moving special profiles, also for San Giovanni Valdarno supply and special profiles for rolling tracks. The plant is also equipped with a finishing center. 23

35 Lo stabilimento di San Giovanni Valdarno è la divisione meccanica del gruppo con più di 50 anni di esperienza nella produzione di suole e lame per macchine movimento terra; la sua capacità produttiva è pari a di pezzi all anno, corrispondenti a circa tonnellate l anno. Oltre a servire un mercato mondiale, S.Giovanni rappresenta la fine del processo di lavorazione dell acciaio, iniziato a San Zeno dove i materiali grezzi vengono trasformati in acciaio e continuano a Pallanzeno e Giammoro con i laminati per suole e lame e arrivano a S.Giovanni per diventare prodotti finiti quali suole e lame. 42 CERTIFICAZIONI CERTIFICATIONS Sistema di gestione Il sistema di gestione del Gruppo è certificato in conformità alla norma UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, quindi come Sistema di gestione per la qualità, ma è stato progettato e strutturato per includere anche la gestione della sicurezza e dell ambiente. Il sistema di gestione del Gruppo Duferdofin - Nucor: - è strutturato per conformarsi alle prescrizioni contenute nelle linee guida UNI-INAIL per un sistema di gestione della salute e sicurezza sul lavoro, nel rispetto dell art.30 del D.Lgs.81/ adotta le linee guida dello standard internazionale BS OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational health and safety management systems. Requirements. Lo stabilimento di San Zeno ha già raggiunto la certificazione. - adotta le linee guida dello standard internazionale UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 Sistemi di gestione ambientale. Grazie a questo approccio integrato il Sistema di gestione ha potuto essere utilizzato come struttura portante del Modello di organizzazione, gestione e controllo ex D.Lgs 231/2001, cioè dal modello previsto dalla legislazione italiana come strumento di prevenzione di tutta una serie di reati.
