Nella piazza grande nel centro di Salerno si è tenuto nelle giornate dell 8 e 9 Giugno un grande show, che ha finalmente reso al purosangue arabo il giusto valore che si merita e la visibilità di un numeroso pubblico! I F.lli Mazza, Claudio e Filippo sono stati gli organizzatori indefessi di questa manifestazione grandiosa. Oltre 100 cavalli iscritti, 4 giudici per questo show, dove ogni particolare è stato curato nei minimi termini. Come, per esempio i tavoli Vip, dove non è mai mancato nulla; numerosi gli assaggi di prodotti tipici locali: come la famosa mozzarella, il pesce fritto, la frutta di stagione e molti altri dolci fatti a mano dall instancabile moglie di Claudio Mazza: Emanuela Scaramella. Certamente, in momenti difficili come quelli che attraversa l Europa e in particolare il nostro paese, la scelta di fare eventi come questo richiede molto coraggio, ma soprattutto la professionalità di dare alla gente un prodotto di classe e di alta qualità. Quindi un grazie va alla giunta di Salerno e al suo coraggioso Sindaco il Dott. Vincenzo De Luca e all assessore al bilancio Dott. Alfonso Bonaiuto. Lo show inoltre alla sera è proseguito con uno degli spettacoli più importanti a livello Europeo: quello che ha creato il talento di Bartolo Messina ARAGONA SHOW. Che con i suoi due allievi ha fatto emozionare tutti con evoluzioni di monta Ungherese e acrobatica. Non per niente abbiamo potuto vedere in questa occasione il Campione Mondiale di anni 17 e un talento di soli dodici anni. La sera del sabato è stata poi caratterizzata da un evento nuovo nel suo genere, nell ambito di show minori come un internazionale di classe C: la presentazione di uno stallone appena importato in Italia dagli Stati Uniti. GR MARVEL è il suo nome, figlio di Marwan Al Shaqab x Ferrarity, al quale auguriamo, a lui una lunga stagione di monta, al suo proprietario i complimenti per l ottimo investimento e al suo trainer Giacomo Boscarino un buon lavoro per il futuro. La mattina del sabato sono cominciate le categorie, a partire dalle puledre di un anno è AJAIB AL SHAQAB (Marwan Al Shaqab x Victoria II Hps) di Al Shaqab Stud. Seconda a mezzo punto MAGIC NINFEA (Versus Magic x Magic Ohara) di proprietà di Fontanella Magic Arabians. Con un punteggio molto alto si guadagna la classe delle puledre di 2 anni SA SONJA (Ajman Moniscione x Sa Sofia)allevata e di proprietà del Sig. Angelo Scipioni. Al secondo posto ETIOPIA EL AZIZ (Fs Eternal Flame x Eritrea El Aziz)allevata da Giampaolo Gubbiotti e oggi di proprietà del Sig. Domenico D Onza. Per le 3 anni con il punteggio più alto nelle categorie puledre è GAZELLA (Qr Marc X Greta) dell allevamento Belga Knocke Arabiansdi Mr e This year, the C show that took place in Salerno was to all effects and purposes an International show. The horses that took part could have competed in B shows and the location and hospitality were of A standards! The event was held on 8th and 9th June in the main square of the city centre which drew in the crowds giving maximum visibility and importance to our Arabian thoroughbreds. The Mazza brothers - Claudio and Filippo were the Organizers of this spectacular venue. Over 100 horses took part in the presence of four Judges. Attention was paid to every detail, even the smallest, and everything was well taken care of. The VIP tables were perfect; delicious local foods were offered like mozzarella cheese, fried fish, fresh fruit and homemade desserts personally prepared by Claudio s untiring wife, Emanuela Scaramella. Considering the tough times that Europe and Italy in particular are going through, organizing such events takes a lot of courage and professionalism, especially if you are aiming at offering people high standards and quality products. Special thanks go to the local council of Salerno, to its Mayor Dr. Vincenzo De Luca and to Assessor Dr. Alfonso Bonaiuto. In the evening, after the show, one of the most famous exhibitions in Europe took place: the ARAGONA SHOW presented by the talented Bartolo Messina who, with his two pupils, thrilled everybody with demonstrations of Hungarian and acrobatic riding. We were able to see the 17 year old World Champion and an emerging 12 year old talent. Saturday night, a new event took place for the first time in a minor international C show. GR MARVEL (Marwan Al Shaqab X Ferrarity), a new stallion just imported from the USA, was presented. Congratulations to his owners for their investment. We wish them a successful breeding season. And best wishes to his trainer Giacomo Boscarino. The Categories started on Saturday morning. The first to enter the show ring were the yearling fillies. The winner of this category was AJAIB AL SHAQAB (Marwan Al Shaqab x Victoria II Hps) owned by Al Shaqab Stud. Second place, with only half a point difference in the final score, was taken by MAGIC NINFEA (Versus Magic x Magic Ohara) owned by Fontanella Magic Arabians. The two year old fillies category was taken, with an incredibly high score, by SA SONJA (Ajman Moniscione x Sa Sofia), bred and owned by Mr.Angelo Scipioni. Second place was taken by ETIO- PIA EL AZIZ (Fs Eternal Flame x Eritrea El Aziz, bred by Mr. Giampaolo Gubbiotti and now owned by Mr. Domenico D Onza. The three year old fillies category was won with the highest score for the fillies by GAZELLA (Qr Marc x Greta), owned by the Knocke Arabians Stud belonging to Mr. & Mrs. Gheysens. Nei 2 anni è AL DJAMAL (Wh Justice x Djasira Princess Psytadel) di proprietà e allevata da ZG Claudia Polte Welbers. Al secondo posto, un bel figlio di Qr Marc x Mb Justine, MASHAR BM di proprietà di Stefania Leo. MAJICIA- AN (Marwan Al Shaqab x Majaarani) di proprietà dell Az. Agr. Tripodi Francesco è primo nell ultima categoria puledri di 3 anni. Suo secondo è LAKABE EL CHANDRA (Im Icare Chatare x Airhina Chandra)dell Az. Agr. Montecucco. Proseguiamo con le Fattrici di 4/5/6 anni: vince la categoria JUWANDA OS (Wh Justice x Shak Lavanda) allevata in Austria da Mr. Stockle e oggi di proprietà di Dubai Arabian Stud. Sua seconda MHALIMA (Al Whaid El Dine x Neter Amira) del Sig: Francesco Laddeo. Per le 7/8/9 anni è prima FANNINA (Wahid x Sissy By Isthar) di proprietà e allevata dallo stesso Sig. Salvatore Cuccia. Seconda è HS ANIQUA (Pilot x Alejka) allevata e di proprietà di Marinella Abbagnale. Ultima categoria fattrici oltre i 10 anni è tutta per K BABET (Gopak x Gaz Bet)che portata da Michele, figlio del proprietario, Sig. The winner of the two year old colts category was AL DJA- MAL (Wh Justice x Djasira Princess Psytadel), owned and bred by ZG Claudia Polte Welbers. The second place of this category was assigned to a beautiful son of QR Marc x Mb Justine: MASHAR BM, owned by Stefania Leo. The three year old colts category was taken by MAJICIAAN (Marwan Al Shaqab X Majaarani), owned by Az. Agr. Tripodi Francesco. LAKABE EL CHANDRA (Im Icare Chatare x Airhina Chandra)owned by Az. Agr. Montecucco, followed in second place. The year old mares categories followed. This category was won by JUWANDA OS (Wh Justice x Shak Lavanda)bred in Austria by Mr. Stockle and now owned by Dubai Arabian Stud. Second place was assigned to MHALIMA (AlWhaid El Dine x Neter Amira)owned by Mr.Francesco Laddeo. The winner of the year old mares category was FANNI- NA (Wahid x Sissy By Isthar), owned and bred by Mr. Salvatore Cuccia. Second place was taken by HS ANIQUA (Pilot x Alejka) bred and owned by Ms. Marinella Abbagnale. The last category for the mares was for the 10 years and over and was won by K BABET (Gopak x Gaz Bet), owned by Mr. Tullio Simonetti and presented by his son Michele. Categoria 7/8/9 anni vede al primo posto il campione Europeo del puro Egiziano FAROUK SAQR (El Habiel x Desperados Francy) di proprietà dell allevamento Egiziano Saqr Stud. Ultima categoria per questo internazionale: stalloni oltre i 10 anni. Vince A. SHIARIF PASHA (As Sinans Pasha x T&G Westona) allevato in Israele e di proprietà di Woody Arabians. Suo secondo è MAGIC EL MAREES (Ansata Shaamis x Telegramma) di proprietà dell az. Agr. Le Quercette. Ci avviciniamo alla fine di questo meraviglioso week end, passato all insegna dello spettacolo e del cavallo arabo. Arriviamo alla scelta decisiva di quei cavalli che torneranno blasonati da medaglie conquistate nel campionato finale. Prime ad essere giudicate sono le puledre: ed è Gold Medal GAZELLE condotta Giacomo Capacci per Al Shaqab, Silver SA SONIA con il suo handler Diego Zopellaro per Angelo Scipioni. Bronz Medal a DIVINA BY SAJIDA portata da Giacomo Boscarino per Simone Leo. Assegnano la Gold Medal per i puledri a MAJICIAN del Dott. Tripodi, portato da Giacomo Capacci. Diego Zopellaro porta LAKABE EL CHANDRA a conquistare la Silver medal per l az. Agr. Montecucco. Il giovane DALI guadagna la Bronz Medal per il dott. Giorgio Virga. JUVANDA OS è gold medal fattrici, che con il suo handler Paolo Capeci conquista un altro successo per Dubai Arabian Stud. Alle sue spalle, Silver è FANNINA del Sig. Salvatore Cuccia. Infine, Bronz Medal a K BABET condotta magistralmente dal suo handler e proprietario: Michele Simonetti. Un appuntamento sempre emozionante per tutti, quello del campionato stalloni che vede vincere la gold medal da JAMIL LA PIANA condotto da Luca Oberti per l az agr. Morelli, sul podio Silver è un esemplare di purosangue Egiziano: FAROUK SAQR, di Saqr Stud condotto da Paolo Capeci. Guadagna il Bronzo ANTAR FG di Joervolino Gianluca, con il suo storico handler Roberto Zaniboni. Ma la festa non finisce qui, i premi sono molti: abbiamo la miglior Testa Campioni offerta da noi di Tutto Arabi, il trofeo miglior testa tra gli iscritti allo show, un premio speciale TIRRENIAN CUP e il Best in Show. The last category of this International venue was for the 10 year old and over stallions. The winner of this category was A. SHIARIF PASHA (As Sinans Pasha X T&G Westona) bred in Israel and owned by Woody Arabians. MAGIC EL MAREES (Ansata Shaamis x Telegramma) owned by Az. Agr. Le Quercette, followed in second place. This wonderful week-end dedicated to the showing of Arabian horses, was coming to an end. It was time for the Final Championship. The first to be judged were the fillies. The Gold Medal was taken by GAZELLE, presented by Giacomo Capacci for Al Shaqab. The Silver Medal was assigned to SA SONIA, presented by her handler Diego Zopellaro and owned by Angelo Scipioni. DIVINA BY SAJIDA, presented by Giacomo Boscarino for Simone Leo, took the Bronze. For the Colts Championship, the Gold Medal was taken by MAJICIAN, owned by Dr. Tripodi and presented by Giacomo Capacci. The Silver Medal was assigned to LAKABE EL CHANDRA, owned by Az. Agr. Montecucco and presented by Diego Zopellaro. The Bronze was taken by DALI (owner Dr. Giorgio Virga). The Mares Championship was won by JUVANDA OS presented by her handler Paolo Capeci and owned by Dubai Arabian Stud. The Silver Medal went to FANNINA, owned by Mr. Salvatore Cuccia. The Bronze Medal went to K BABET, magnificently presented by her handler and owner, Michele Simonetti. And finally the most exciting moment of the show: the Stallions Championship! The Gold Medal was taken by JAMIL LA PIANA, presented by Luca Oberti for Az. Agr. Morelli. The Silver Medal was won by the SE stallion FAROUK SAQR, owned by the Saqr Stud and presented by Paolo Capeci. The Bronze Medal went to ANTAR FG, owned by Joervolino Gianluca and presented by his life time handler Roberto Zaniboni. The prize-winning didn t end here! After the Championship other prizes were distributed, for example: Champion Best Head Trophy - sponsored by Tutto Arabi; Best Head in Show Trophy for all horses competing; the Special Tirrenian Cup and the Best in Show Trophy.
