Technology and specialization: a successful meeting AMUT-COMI was born out of a meeting between AMUT S.p.A., historical company from Novara, with over 55-year experience in the plastics processing construction plants and particularly its division for thermoforming machine from reel, and COMI S.p.A. that, from the 1970 s, designed and manufactured high-level thermoforming machines from sheet, already a leader in the Italian refrigerator market and recently entered in the packaging industry through the acquisition of the Italian company CBM. 5 01 Forma & Fustella Formatura a pressione / vuoto e taglio a fustella. Soluzione efficiente per la termoformatura di vassoi, piatti, coperchi, contenitori tecnici e per alimenti, vasi con ogni materiale termoplastico (PET, PS, OPS, PP, PVC, materiali barriera, etc.). Altissima flessibilità, avanzata tecnologia e contenuto costo di stampi, elevate performance e grandi produzioni, piccoli lotti economicamente producibili. Serie FG e VPS: Serie FFG e VPK-C: forma e fustella simultaneamente; forma e fustella a ripresa; Serie FFG-ADV e VPS-K: forma e fustella simultaneamente o a ripresa; Serie FFG4 e VPK4: forma, fora e fustella a ripresa. 01 Forming & steel rule die cutting Pressure / vacuum forming and steel rule die cutting. Efficient solution for the thermoforming of trays, plates, lids, plant pots, technical and food containers with every thermoplastic material (PET, PS, OPS, PP, PVC, barrier materials, etc.). Highest flexibility: high performances for large productions but quick tooling and moulds low cost allowing production of small batches economically. FG and VPS series: FFG and VPK-C series: in-mould forming and cutting; separate forming and cutting; FFG-ADV and VPS-K series: in-mould or separate forming and cutting; FFG4 and VPK4 series: separate forming, punching and steel rule die cutting. 4

7 02 Forma & Trancia nello stampo Forma e trancia nello stampo. Macchine adatte alla produzione di prodotti in PP, GPPS, HIPS, r-pet, PLA, PVC, materiali barrierati e termoplastici in genere che richiedono altissima qualità e precisione anche in caso di materiali soggetti a ritiri molto elevati (bicchieri per confezionamento di bevande e alimenti, contenitori con tolleranze geometriche ridotte e/o destinati a linee di riempimento automatiche). Serie AMP: piano porta semi-stampo inferiore basculante e formatura a pressione; Serie FTV: piano porta semi-stampo inferiore a movimentazione verticale e formatura a pressione; Serie PA: piano porta semi-stampo inferiore a movimentazione verticale e formatura con vuoto per specifica destinazione ai piatti di PS e PP. 02 In-mould forming & punching In-mould forming and punching These machines are suitable for products in PP, GPPS, HIPS, r-pet, PLA, PVC, barriered and thermoplastic materials in general, which require the highest quality and accuracy, even in case of materials subject to a remarkable shrinkable: such as cups for beverages and foods packaging, containers with low geometric tolerances and / or for automatic filling lines, etc. AMP series: FTV series: PA series: lower movable tilting platen and pressure forming; lower movable platen with vertical movement and pressure forming; vertically movable platen holding lower half-mould and vacuum forming specifically for PS and PP plates. 6

9 03 Forma & Trancia a ripresa Formatura e tranciatura in due separate stazioni. Macchina dedicata all efficiente produzione del monoprodotto di altissimo consumo (bicchieri monouso, bicchieri per distribuzione automatica - vending - in HIPS). Grande area di formatura movimentata verticalmente associata a sistema di tranciatura di precisione orizzontale a ripresa. Installazione esclusivamente in-line tramite estrusione diretta nella termoformatrice attraverso rulli di termostatazione. 03 Forming & separate punching Forming and cutting into two separate stations. Machine dedicated to the efficient production of single-product of the highest consumption (PS disposable cups, cups for vending machines). Large forming area vertically moved combined with separate horizontal punching press. In-line installation only by direct extrusion in the thermoforming machine through temperature control rolls. 8

11 04 Macchine Speciali AMUT-COMI progetta e costruisce soluzioni speciali dedicate a prodotti specifici. Si tratta di una gamma di macchine in continua evoluzione e che si sviluppa seguendo le richieste dei clienti e l evoluzione del mercato. Rientrano nella gamma di macchine speciali AMUT-COMI: Serie FTLT: formatura e successivo taglio con lame rotanti della lastra per la produzione di pannelli termoformati in genere, in PVC o PP dedicati alle torri di raffreddamento; Serie FFG-E e VK-C: per la produzione di imballi in PS espanso, macchine a tecnologia forma e taglio a fustella specificatamente adattate al processo della lastra espansa. 04 Special Machines AMUT-COMI designs and manufactures special solutions for specific products. It is a continuosly evolving range of machines developed according to customers requirements and market trends. AMUT-COMI special machines range includes FTLT series: forming and subsequent cutting of the sheet with rotating blades for the production of thermoformed panels generally in PVC or PP material, for cooling towers; FFG-E and VK-C series: for the production of PS foam packaging, machines based on form and steel rule die cutting technology specifically suitable for processing foam sheet. 10

13 05 Sistemi In-line e Progetti chiavi in mano Il know-how tecnologico nell estrusione a disposizione di AMUT-COMI consente di progettare impianti completi per l estrusione e la termoformatura in-line e impianti chiavi in mano completi di attrezzature ausiliarie quali: bordatrici per bicchieri in PP o HIPS; preriscaldatori per foglia in PP; impilatori multiasse; manipolatori di impilaggio; unità automatiche di trasferimento dei prodotti a operazioni successive (stampa e/o confezionamento); sistemi fine linea automatizzati. 05 In-line systems and turn key projects AMUT-COMI technological know-how in extrusion allows designing of in-line extrusion and thermoforming plants and turnkey projects complete with auxiliary equipment such as: rimming machines for PP or HIPS cups; pre-heaters for PP foil; multi-axis stackers; stacking manipulators; automatic units to convey the formed products to the subsequent operations (printing and/or packaging); end line automated systems. 12
