Roma, 10 dicembre 2014 Gentile Presidente, Illustri Autorità, cari soci della Dante di Adelaide e amici dell Italia, oggi celebriamo il 50 anniversario del Comitato della Dante Alighieri di Adelaide.

2 Roma, 10 dicembre 2014 Gentile Presidente, Illustri Autorità, cari soci della Dante di Adelaide e amici dell Italia, oggi celebriamo il 50 anniversario del Comitato della Dante Alighieri di Adelaide. Non è una semplice ricorrenza da festeggiare, ma un momento importante per considerare il prezioso lavoro svolto dal Comitato della Dante di Adelaide dal 1964 ad oggi, durante i quali tanti soci del Comitato hanno potuto conoscere più da vicino il mondo in italiano e partecipare alle numerose attività organizzate dalla Dante di Adelaide. Molte persone si sono succedute nel corso di questi 50 anni in un clima di disinteressata passione ed hanno continuato, in accordo con la Sede centrale, a promuovere la lingua e la cultura italiane in Australia. Mi auguro che la data che oggi festeggiamo sia un momento di gioia ed al tempo stesso ci faccia riflettere sulla responsabilità rappresentata dall Istituzione di cui tutti con orgoglio facciamo parte e sulle future sfide che ci attendono.
