Through restoration and craft work on beams, boards and antique pieces, wood is returned to life and offer warmth and always new emotions. The parquet floor becames valuable, and thanks to the skills of craftsmen, unique and elegant floors are created to fit the most sophisticated settings, like public or private administrative offices, or to spur the creativity of architects or designers, who knowingly set them into a modern, trendsetting design. 3
IL PRODOTTO Il nostro parquet proviene dal recupero di travi, assi e pezzi antichi che, grazie a mani esperte, vengono puliti, privati di chiodi tramite scalpello e raschiati manualmente con vetro, l antica lavorazione da cui deriva la definizione raschiato a mano col culo di bottiglia. Solo in un secondo tempo con una vera e propria azione di restauro si ottiene il prodotto finito. THE PRODUCT Our parquet floor comes from the recovery of beams, boards and antiques pieces, cleaned with expert hands, carefully freed from nails with a chisel and then hand scraped with glass, an antique woodworking process originated in the definition hand scraped with a bottle bottom. Nodature, annerimenti, forature, tracce di interventi di restauro pertanto ne attestano l autenticità ed il pregio. Authenticity guarantee This parquet is completely made from "antique wood" of teak, larch, oak, chestnut and walnut thanks to the recovery of beams, boards and antique pieces. TEAK antico - piallato TEAK antique - planed This wonderful product is just massive, authentic and antique, tables of 100-200 years are retrieved one by one from buildings being demolished, are then processed by hand with tools and glass scrapers ("scraped the bottom of the bottle") in order bring to light the ancient layer. To the touch, the sensation is that of stroking a velvety skin. The size of the tables are obviously or variables, normalized only in the thickness (18-20mm) and in the lateral tapping required in order to ensure the best assembly. Questo splendido prodotto solo massiccio, autentico ed antico, tavole di 100-200 anni sono recuperate una alla volta da costruzioni in demolizione, vengono poi lavorate a mano con strumenti e raschietti a vetro (Òraschiate con il culo di bottigliaó) al fine di riportare alla luce lõantica patina. Al tatto, la sensazione quella di accarezzare una pelle vellutata. Le dimensioni delle tavole son o ovviamente variabili, normalizzate solo nello spessore (18-20mm) e nella maschiatura laterale occorrente al fine di garantire il migliore Assemblaggio. Il Circolo dell Antico Parquet is a partner of Borghi e Centri storici, an initiative of MADE EXPO, the International exhibition event dedicated to design and building. This initiative has been implemented in cooperation with the company BORGHI srl,committed to redeveloping and increaseing the value of more than 5000 Italian villages and historical centers.
