ENGLISH SAFETY PRECAUTIONS IMPORTANT This manual is an addendum to DXT 3000 user manuals. Refer to the MX 3250 and MX 3500 main units user manual for safety precautions and system use. Before installing teh remote control RC 3005, please read this instruction manual carefully and keep it on hand for future reference, as it is to be considered a part of the DXT 3000 system and must accompany it when it changes ownership as a reference for correct installation. RCF S.p.A. will not assume any responsibility for the incorrect installation and / or use. IMPORTANT INSTALLATION Fix the rear plate on the wall. The multiple holes configuration makes the control compatible with most of the standard electrical boxes. Be sure to leave the central sqared hole (grey) free for cabling. 4
CABLING ENGLISH Up to 4 RC 3005 can be connected to the same Master Unit. The first RC 3005 shall be connected to the Master Unit front panel, and the other ones can be daisy chained. The maximum distance between the Master Unit and the last RC 3005 is 300m (CAT 5 UTP cable or higher). ENGLISH FUNCTIONS When connected to the Master Unit, RC 3005 allows to control the MP3 audio source integrated in the front panel. Functions available are: - VOLUME DOWN - VOLUME UP - PREVIOUS TRACK - NEXT TRACK - PLAY / PAUSE VOL - VOL + MP3 AUDIO PLAYER RC MONITOR SIGNAL MP3 AUX INPUT AUDIO ON AUDIO PLAYER GENERAL POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM AMPLIFIER TRANSM. ITALIANO AVVERTENZE PER LA SICUREZZA E PRECAUZIONI D USO IMPORTANTE Questo manuale è aggiuntivo a quelli d uso del sistema DXT 3000. Riferirsi al manuale dell unità centrale MX 3250 o MX 3500 per quanto riguardo il funzionamento del sistema e le precauzioni d uso. Prima di installare il controllo remoto RC 3005, si prega di leggere attentamente le istruzioni contenute in questo manuale, il quale è da conservare per riferimenti futuri, costituisce parte integrante del sistema DXT 3000 e deve accompagnare quest ultimo anche nei passaggi di proprietà, per permettere al nuovo proprietario di conoscere le modalità d installazione. L installazione e l utilizzo errati esimono la RCF S.p.A. da ogni responsabilità. IMPORTANTE INSTALLAZIONE Fissare il guscio posteriore al muro. La foratura multipla rende il dispositivo compatibile con la maggior delle scatole elettriche standard. Assicurarsi di lasciare libero il foro quadrato centrale per il passaggio del cavo. 8
COLLEGAMENTI ITALIANO Possono essere collegati fino a 4 controlli remoti RC 3005 alla stessa unità centrale. Il primo deve essere collegato, in base allo schema riportato, al pannello frontale dell unità centrale, i successivi in cascata al primo. La distanza massima tra l unità centrale e l ultimo RC 3005 è 300m (cavo CAT 5 UTP o superiore).
