2 Figlio di una generazione di ebanisti e scultori siciliani, Carlo Caruso fonda nel 1981 un'azienda specializzata nella produzione di mobili classici. Antica Ebanisteria quando il significato etimologico del marchio trova perfetta rispondenza nelle ragioni della sua stessa essenza: Antica perché la produzione dei nostri mobili affonda le radici nell'antichità dei secoli appena passati ed Ebanisteria perché le nostre maestranze, altamente qualificate, ripetono nel lavoro, inteso come un rito, pedissequamente, i gesti e l'operosità d'alto profilo artistico degli ebanisti del nostro ricco passato. Meticolosità, perfezione ed amore per il bello costituiscono le ragioni stesse del produrre e del prodotto. Interamente made in Italy, i nostri prodotti hanno da tempo varcato i confini nazionali e si sono attestati significativamente presso la migliore clientela estera di indiscusso profilo qualitativo e commerciale. Senza mai piegarsi al mercato di massa, i mobili Antica Ebanisteria sono interamente realizzati con materiali pregiati; gli intagli e gli intarsi vantano un'attenta e scrupolosa esecuzione artigianale curata a mano sin nei minimi particolari. Sulla spinta delle nuove tendenze, forte di una personalità giovane e creativa, Carlo Caruso, insieme ai figli Carlo Caruso Jr, Sergio Caruso e ad un giovane designer Francesco Di Venuta, fonda nel 2007 una nuova divisione di design contemporaneo con il nome di CC Design, acronimo di Carlo Caruso Design. L'apertura al design contemporaneo avviene gradualmente: dapprima vengono rivisitate alcune linee classiche di Antica Ebanisteria tramite l'applicazione di nuove finiture laccate e opportune modifiche stilistiche, successivamente si procede alla realizzazione ex novo di vere e proprie collezioni. CC Design nel 2009 presenta la collezione Panarea, in frassino laccato a poro aperto e foglia argento/oro. Morbide curve e segni astratti sono i caratteri principali della collezione Panarea; una linea molto flessibile che presentata in tre diverse finiture ed arricchita da colori vivaci come il fuxia e il blu ha saputo coniugare un prodotto classico con un'immagine moderna. Una collezione essenziale e sofisticata allo stesso tempo, pensata per chi ama guardare il classico da un altro punto di vista. Per noi dell'antica Ebanisteria il binomio spazio-tempo si alterna e si insegue in un vorticoso andirivieni per una ragione semplicissima: produrre mobili che come opere d'arte trascendono il tempo e lo spazio ed assurgono a rango di assoluta apprezzabilità. Antica Ebanisteria as the etymological meaning of the trade mark in Italian language is in perfect compliance reasons for it s very essence: Antica because the production of our furniture has it s roots in the antiquity centuries just passed and Ebanisteria because our workforce, highly qualified, repeated in the work, seen as a rite, high artistic profile gestures of cabinetmakers of our rich past. Meticulous, perfection and love for beauty are the same reasons of products and produce. Entirely Made in Italy, our products have long crossed national market and have significantly certificates at the best foreign clients of undisputed commercial quality, without ever bending the mass market, furniture completely built with quality materials, and the carvings and the inlays have a careful and scrupulous implementation craft cured by hand since the smallest details. On the push of the new tendencies, strong of a young and creative personality, Carlo Caruso, together with his Childs Carlo Jr, Sergio Caruso and a young designer Francesco Di Venuta, made in 2007 a new division of contemporary design with the name of CC Design, Carlo Caruso Design acronym. The opening to the contemporary design gradually happens: at first some classical lines are revisited of Antica Ebanisteria through the application of new lacquered finishes and opportune stylistic changes, subsequently he proceeds to the realization of a new Collections. CC Design in 2009 introduces the Collection Panarea, in ash lacquered and silver / gold leaf. Soft curves and abstract signs are the principal characters of the Collection Panarea; a very flexible line that introduced in three different finishes and enriched by vivacious colors as the Fuxia and the Blue one has known how to conjugate a classical product with a modern image. An essential and sophisticated Collection at the same time, thought for the one who loves to beware the classical style of another point of view. For us Antica Ebanisteria the combination space-time alternates and chases in a whirling go and came for a simple reason: produce furniture that as works of art transcend the time and the space and they rise to rank of absolute appreciably. 03
