ALFRED side chair / sedia indossatore designers: Loris&Livia Alfred non è la solita sedia,sta bene in ogni parte della casa: in corridoio, nella stanza da letto, nella cabina armadio. Grazie a dei piccoli accorgimenti diventa un appendiabiti perfetto: l impronta superiore accoglie la cinta,la cravatta o un foulard; la traversa è per appendere gli abiti; il piano di appoggio è utile anche per impilare libri e riviste. Alfred is not a usual chair, it fits in every part of the house: in a hallway, in a bedroom, and even in a fitting room. Thanks to small details it becomes a perfect clothes hanger: the hook at the top can accommodate a belt, a tie or a scarf; the cross-bar is for hanging clothes, while the ground plane is useful for piling up magazines and books. 4

A new version of the pendulum clock, an useful object, simple but, at the same time, able to furnish any place, pubblic or private. 6

LESEFUTTER magazine holder / portariviste designer: Matthias Zschaler Lesefutter, può essere tradotto come mangiatoia per libri è progettato per fornire lo spazio per i libri preferiti e le riviste che si vogliono tenere sempre a portata di mano, accanto al divano, al tavolo, al letto o dovunque ci sia bisogno di cibo per la mente.la sua struttura deriva dalla forma arcaica della mangiatoia per gli animali ed offre un segnalibro incorporato. Lesefutter, which can be translated as reading matter is designed to provide space for the favorite books and magazines you always want to keep in reach, besides your sofa, your table, your bed or wherever you are in need of some brain food. It derives its layout from the archaic form of an animal s manger and offers a built-in bookmark. 8

ILLUSION small table / tavolino designer: Minna Niskakangas Un tavolino ma anche un vassoio, che si stacca dalla semplice base a tre piedi. In due misure e più colori, in metallo verniciato a polvere. Semplici forme e semplici funzioni, un oggetto simbiotico che si adatta a tutti i contesti. Illusion is used as a coffee table and works also as tray giving the flexibilty for use. The legs give a feeling of lightness and minimize use of material. Shiny and mat patterns on the surface play with light creating kind of reflections. 10

AIKA orologio da muro / wall clock designer: Ari Kanerva Aika significa tempo in finlandese: infatti questo piccolo orologio a pendolo da muro, nato dalla stessa famiglia di Tiuku, è semplicemente perfetto per scandire il tuo tempo quotidiano. Aika means time in finnish: in fact, this smaller wall pendulum clock, that goes together with Tiuku, is a simply perfect to tick your everyday time. 12

JOE appendiabiti / coat rack designer: Leonardo Fortino Joe è un appendiabiti disegnato per integrarsi in qualsiasi ambiente grazie alla sua semplicità formale unita alla finitura naturale del frassino. La parte centrale in metallo colorata è un contenitore capace di ospitare i piccoli oggetti di uso quotidiano. Joe is a coat rack designed to integrate in any environment thanks to its formal simplicity combined with the natural finish of the ash tree. The central part is a colored metal container capable of hosting small objects of daily use. 14

VASE SHELVES library / libreria designers: Bakery studio Vase Shelves è un sistema di scaffalatura modulare in legno con elementi torniti a forma di vaso,essi fungono da connettori tra un piano e l altro dando all oggetto una qualità costruttiva ed uno stile unico. Vase Shelves is a modular shelving system that is constructed of wood planes and vase shaped lathed wood elements, that serve as connectors between one plane to another and give the object its unique look and constructional qualities. 18

BLOATED sgabello / stool designer: Damien Gernay La serie Bloated è ispirata all immagine di un pancia prominente vincolata da una cintura. Gli sgabelli sono in pelle imbottita in poliuretano espanso. Ogni pezzo assume una forma leggermente diversa, la pelle trova ogni volta il suo modo per aggirare la struttura in legno. La pelle flessibile, con le sue curve delicate contrasta con la struttura portante rigida, evidenziando le qualità di ogni materiale. The bloated series was inspired by the image of a prominent midriff being constrained by a belt. The stools consist of leather sheets filled with expanded foam. Each piece takes on a slightly different shape from the next as the leather forms its way around the wooden support. The flexible skin with its gentle curves contrasts with the rigid supporting structure, perfectly showcasing the qualities of each material. 20

TINA bench / panchina designer: Andrea Rekalidis Tina è una panca che reinterpreta l archetipo della vecchia seduta a dondolo in chiave contemporanea. La struttura in faggio massello, il semplice assemblaggio tramite incastri e la linea essenziale la rendono una perfetta compagna nel tempo libero ma non solo. Grazie al suo carattere semplice Tina si inserisce perfettamente in contesti sia pubblici che privati. Tina is a bench inspired by the archetype of an old seat while maintaining the key contemporary element. The structure is a solid beech wood, the simple system of an interlocking assembly and the essential line renders it the perfect companion during leisure time and more. Thanks to its simple character Tina fits perfectly in both public and private settings. 22

LATVA coat standing / appendiabiti designer: Mikko Laakkonen Latva (cima dell albero in finlandese) è un appendiabiti che ricorda le fronde delle betulle in inverno. Multipli di Latva possono creare un bosco per separare gli ambienti. In metallo verniciato a polvere in diversi colori. Latva (the word for tree top in Finnish) is a coat-rack and a space devider. With the multiple Latva coat-racks you can create thicket like space devider in your room. Leave your belongings on the branches of Latva. 24

PLIEE lamps / lampade designer: Chiara Andreatti Famiglia di lanterne con struttura in tondino verniciata e rivestimento in tela plissettata (poliestere ignifugo trattato con resinatura H2O). I paralumi vengono vestiti sui telai, grazie all elasticità della plissettatura. Tipologie plissé: chèvron, squama, rombo e classica; con bordatura taglia/cuci e filo elettrico a contrasto. A series of lanterns with metal white painted structure and covering in pleated fabric (fireproof polyester treated with H2O resin).the lampshades are dressed on the metal structure, thanks to the elasticity of the fabric. Fabric types: Chevron, scale, rumble and classical; with cut/stitch edging and contrasting coloured cord. 26

BIRDS ON WIRE coat rack / appendiabiti designer: Harry Allen L appendiabiti copia le sue forme da uccelli posati su fili. Ogni giorno a New York il designer passa sotto cavi riempiti da centinaia di uccelli. Birds On Wire è il tentativo di catturare questa immagine in un prodotto. Una foto di questa vista è stata trasformata in metallo tagliato a laser con ganci per le giacche. Birds On Wire è parte silhouette vittoriana, parte flashback Flintstoniano che da vita a un complemento funzionale per qualsiasi casa. The Birds On Wire coat rack borrows its shape from, well, birds on a wire. Every day on his commute into New York City, the designer passes under wires filled with hundreds of birds. He sought to capture this beautiful sight in a product. A photograph was abstracted and turned into a laser cut metal outline with hooks for coats. Birds On Wire is one part victorian silhouette, one part Flintstones flashback, and one part functional addition to any home. 28

MING lampade / lamps designer: Cherif Morsi Una semplice lampada da terra costituita da due paralumi conici in tela che si sovrappongono l uno capovolto sull altro. Un gioco di memoria ma anche un oggetto funzionale adatto, grazie alle tre diverse misure, a tutti gli ambienti. A simple lamp made only with two basic conical shapes in fabric: one on top of the other. A play of memories and, at the same time, a functional object that is suitable in any environments with its different three sizes. 32

ENO sedia / chair designer: Mikko Laakkonen Una sedia che ricalca, in chiave moderna, l archetipo delle classiche sedute del nord Europa dove la solidità del legno è la matrice formale. Eno, in chiave contemporanea, pulisce i segni offrendosi come un classico destinato a durare oltre le mode. His chair is inspired, in modern key, by the classic archetype of the sitting of the north of Europe, where the solidity of the wood is the formal matrix. Eno, in contemporary key, cleans up the signs, offering itself like a classic object, destined to overcome beyond any fashion styles. 34

RANDOM magazine holder / portariviste designer: Takahide Sano Un groviglio di fili, apparentemente disordinato, si offre all uso in maniera semplice e intuitiva. Libri, riviste, giornali, ma anche ogni piccolo oggetto vogliate tenere a portata di mano. Dunque un portariviste che lascia spazio alla fantasia di ognuno di noi. A tangle of lines, apparently within a disorder, can be used in a simple and intuitive way. Books, reviews, newspapers, but also every small object you want to hold to you. Therefore this is a magazine holder that gives space to the fantasy of everybody. 36

Le maniglie per spostarlo dove si vuole o per permettere un semplice incastro così da impilarli; l uno sugli altri a comporre una libreria infinita. A sheet, with simple creases, becomes a container which can also be a shelf. Non è necessaria alcuna forma di energia per creare la sua luce colorata, poiché questa è un semplice riflesso sul muro. LATVA WALL clothing rack / attacccapanni a parete designer: Mikko Laakkonen Le fronde della betulla di Latva diventano una fascina che nella tradizione decora le pareti delle case rurali. Un segno attualizzato, ma anche una funzione semplice e intuitiva per appendere in maniera informale le proprie cose. The leaves of the Latva birch become a fascina (little band) which traditionally decorates the walls of the rural houses. An up-to-date(current-day, current) sign, but also a simple and intuitive object to hang things in an informal manner. 48

A FLOOR LAMP floor lamp/ lampada da terra designer: Aust&Amelung Una lampada da terra si basa sul semplice meccanismo di una trave in equilibrio. Una lunga gru attraverso la stanza e gli equilibri di un paralume su un lato contro un sacchetto di sabbia, dall altro. Il sacco di sabbia può essere spostato manualmente in quattro posizioni di pesatura in diverse situazioni di illuminazione A floor lamp is based on the simple mechanism of a beam balance. A long beam cranes across the room and balances a lampshade on one side against a sandbag on the other. The sandbag can be moved manually into four positions weighing in different lighting situations. 64

UKKI small table/ tavolino designer: Mikko Laakkonen prima che avessimo i secchi di plastica, mio nonno faceva cesti in legno di pino. Ukki (il termine per Nonno in Finlandese) utilizza la stessa antica tecnica i tavolini Ukki nella loro semplicità si adattano sia a spazi privati che pubblici. Before we have plastic buckets my grandfather made woodchip baskets from pine. Ukki (the word for grandfather in Finnish) use that same ancient manufacturing technique in new context. Simple and character Ukki table fit private interiors as well as casual public spaces. 68

HOOP coat rack/ appendiabiti designer: Loris&Livia Ispirato dai tradizionali puzzle a filo cinesi, l appendiabiti costituito da tre anelli di metallo che sono collegati come gigantesche maglie di catena prima di essere saldati in una struttura a tre gambe, offre diverse opzioni per appendere pr giacche, cappelli e borse. HOOP è disponibile in bianco, nero e blu turchese. Inspired from the traditional Chinese wire puzzles, the coatstand consists of three metal loops that are connected like giant chain links before being welded into a three-legged structure, offering several hanging options for jackets, hats and bags.
