Raggiungere immediatamente il porto o il ridosso più vicino. Il Comitato di Regata potrà far disputare o ripetere la prova, alzando la lettera L del C.I 1.2 Modifiche alle Regole di Regata: - RRS 33b non si applica; -RRS 35, A4 e A5 sono modificate in modo che le barche che non finiscono entro 30 minuti dopo la prima barca arrivata saranno classificate Non Arrivato senza udienza; - RRS 62.2 e 66 sono modificate al fine di ridurre il tempo per la richiesta di riparazione e per la richiesta di riapertura di un udienza nell ultimo giorno di regate; -RRS 63.3(a) sono modificate in modo che solo lo skipper o il prodiere possa rappresentare una barca a un udienza di protesta; -RRS A4 e A5 sono modificate in modo che una barca che manchi il controllo prima del segnale di avviso sarà classificata senza udienza come una barca non partita nella regata. 2 COMUNICATI PER I CONCORRENTI: I Comunicati per i concorrenti verranno esposti all albo ufficiale situate vicino alla Segreteria Regata. 3 MODIFICHE ALLE ISTRUZIONI DI REGATA: Qualsiasi modifica alle istruzioni di regata verrà esposta prima delle 9.00 del giorno in cui avranno effetto, ad eccezione di qualunque modifica al programma delle regate che verrà esposta prima ORGANIZING AUTHORITY YACHT CLUB PORTOPICCOLO ASD Sistiana 231/C 34011 DUINO AURISINA (TS) Phone +39 040 9975102 e-mail ycportopiccolo@ppst.it in collaboration with: SOCIETA NAUTICA PIETAS JULIA ASD & Yacht Club Adriaco ASD 1. RULES 1.1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and the National Authority Prescriptions to Rule 27.3: the following signals shall be used: I.C. N over AP = danger signal. Displayed on any R.C. boat accompanied by 3 sound signals it means: All races in progress are abandoned and all scheduled races are postponed. Boats are to immediately sail ashore or to the closest place of shelter. The R.C. will display I.C. Flag L if it decides to re-sail the race. 1.2 Alterations to the Racing Rules: - RRS 33b will not apply; - RRS 35, A4 and A5 will be changed to provide that boats not finishing within 30 minutes after the first boat to finish will be scored Did Not Finish without a hearing; - RRS 62.2 and 66 will be changed to shorten the time for requesting redress and requesting that a hearing be re-opened on the last day of racing; - RRS 63.3(a) will be changed to provide that only the skipper or crew may present a boat at protest hearings; - RRS A4 and A5 will be changed to provide that a boat failing to check in prior to the warning signal will be scored the same as a boat not starting in the race without a hearing. 2 NOTICES TO COMPETITORS Notices to competitors will be posted on the official notice board located near the Race Office. 3 CHANGES IN THE SAILING INSTRUCTIONS: Any change to the sailing instructions will be posted before 09.00 on the day it takes effect, except that any change to the schedule of race will be posted by 20.00 on the day before it takes effect.

Il segnale di avviso sarà esposto non meno di 60 minuti dopo l ammainata dell Intelligenza. 5 - PROGRAMMA: Venerdì 19 maggio: - iscrizione presso la segreteria Regate dalle 10.30 alle 12.30 e dalle 15.30 alle 19.00; Sabato 20 maggio: - primo segnale di avviso alle 12.00; - Pasta & Free Beer Party al rientro della regata. Domenica 21 maggio: -primo segnale di avviso alle 10.00; -premiazione al rientro della Regata. Non verranno dati segnali di avviso dopo le 15.00 Sono previste quattro prove, con un massimo di tre prove al giorno. 6 AREA DI REGATA: L area di regata saranno le acque del Golfo di Trieste (v. mappa allegata) nella Baia di Sistiana di fronte a Portopiccolo. 7 PERCORSI 7.1 Potranno essere usati i percorsi 0, 1, 3, 4, come da allegato. La barca comitato esporrà il pennello numerico corrispondente per indicare il percorso. 7.2 La lunghezza dei lati è descritta nel Format C, STCR 34.3.7. 7.3 Il rilevamento bussola approssimato dalla partenza alla boa 1 sarà esposto sulla barca comitato prima o contestualmente al segnale di avviso. 8 - BOE: 8.1 Le Boe 1, 2, 3, 3s, 3p, 4 e la Boa di Partenza saranno di colore giallo. La boa di arrivo sarà di colore arancio. 8.2 Una nuova boa, che indichi un cambio di percorso, sarà di colore arancione. Se una nuova boa è cambiata successivamente, essa verrà rimpiazzata con una boa gialla 4 SIGNALS ASHORE: 4.1 Signals made ashore will be displayed on the Signal Mast on the top of the Yacht Club Portopiccolo Club House. 4.2 Code flag "AP" when displayed ashore means that the start has been postponed. The Warning Signal will be made not less than 60 minutes after the lowering of the signal. 5 - SCHEDULE: Friday May 19: -registration at Race Office from 10.30 to 12.30 a.m. and from 3.30 to 7.00 p.m.; Saturday May 20: - first warning signal at will be displayed at 12.00 a.m.; - Pasta & Free Beer Party after regatta. Sunday May 21: -fisrt warning signal at will be displayed at 10.00 a.m.; - Price Giving Ceremony on Sunday afternoon. No warning signal will be made after 3.00 pm. Four races are scheduled, with a maximum of three in every day of race. 6 RACING AREA: The racing area will be the water of the Gulf of Trieste (see enclosed maps) in the Sistiana Bay in front of Portopiccolo. 7 - COURSE 7.1 Course "0", "1", "3", "4, as enclosed courses, may be used. The Race Committee signal boat will display the appropriate numeral pennant to indicate the course. 7.2 The length of the legs is described in Format C, STCR 34.3.7. 7.3 The approximate compass bearing from Start to Mark 1 will be displayed on the R.C. signal boat prior to or with the Warning Signal. 8 MARKS: 8.1 Marks 1, 2, 3 and Start will be yellow. The mark of the finishing will be orange. 8.2 A new mark, indicating a change in the course, will be orange. If a new mark is subsequently changed, it will be replaced with a yellow mark.
9 CONTROLLO: Prima del primo segnale di avviso della prima prova del giorno a cui una barca prende parte, essa deve navigare passando di poppa alla barca comitato per essere riconosciuta. La RRS A4.1 è modificata in modo che barche che non osservano questa norma riceveranno lo stesso punteggio di una barca non partita, senza udienza. Ciò modifica le RRS 63.1 e A5. 10 LA PARTENZA 10.1 La linea di partenza sarà tra un asta con una bandiera arancione sulla barca comitato e il lato di percorso di una boa gialla. 10.2 Le prove saranno fatte partire come da RRS 26. 10.3 Le RRS A4, A5 sono modificate in modo che una barca che non parta entro 10 minuti dopo il segnale di partenza sarà classificata DNS senza udienza. 11 - CAMBIO DEL LATO SUCCESSIVO DI PERCORSO: Per cambiare la posizione della boa del successivo lato di percorso, il comitato di regata posizionerà una nuova boa (o sposterà la linea di arrivo) e toglierà la boa originale non appena possibile. Il c ambio verrà segnalato prima che la prima barca abbia cominciato il lato, anche se la boa potrebbe non essere ancora in posizione. Nel caso di cambio del lato di percorso, la boa 2 non sarà considerata una boa di percorso. Quando in un ulteriore cambio lanuova boa viene sostituita, essa sarà rimpiazzata da una boa originale. 12 - L ARRIVO: La linea di arrivo sarà tra un asta con bandiera arancione esposta sulla barca comitato e la boa di arrivo descritta in 8.1. 13 - TEMPO LIMITE: Il tempo limita sarà come descritto in Format C, STCR 34.3.7. 14 - PROTESTE: 14.1 I moduli per le proteste sono disponibili alla Segreteria Regate. Proteste e richieste di riparazione o riapertura dovranno essere ivi consegnate entro il tempo limite per le proteste. 14.2 Il tempo limite per le proteste è 90 minuti dopo che l ultima barca è arrivata nell ultima prova del giorno oppure dopo il segnale del comitato di regata che oggi non saranno corse regate, quale sia il termine più tardivo. 9 CHECK IN: Prior to the first Warning Signal of the first race a boat sails each day, she shall sail past the stern of the R.C. signal boat to be recorded. This changes RRS 63.1 and A5. 10 THE START 10.1 The starting line will be between the staff displaying an orange flag on the on the Race Committee signal boat and the course side of yellow buoy. 10.2 Races will be started by using RRS 26. 10.3 RRS A4, A5 is changed so that a boat not starting within 10 minutes after the Starting Signal will be scored DNS without a hearing. 11 CHANGE OF POSITION OF THE NEXT MARK: To change the position of the next mark, the race committee will lay a new mark (or move the finishing line) and remove the original mark as soon as practicable. The change will be signaled before the leading boat has begun the leg, although the mark may not yet be in position. In case of change of course, Mark 2 will not be considered a course mark. When in a subsequent change a new mark is replaced, it will be replaced by an original mark. 12 THE FINISH The finishing line will be between the staff displaying an orange flag is displayed on a Race Committee boat and the course side of the finishing mark described in 8.1. 13- TIME LIMIT The time limit will be as described in Format C, STCR 34.3.7. 14 - PROTESTS: 14.1 Protest forms are available in the Race Office. Protests and requests for redress or reopening shall be delivered there within the Protest Time limit. 14.2 The Protests Time Limit is 90 minutes after the last boat has finished the last race of the day or the race committee signals no more racing today, whichever is later. 14.3 Notices will be posted on the official notice board within 30 minutes of the Protest Time limit to inform competitors of hearings in which they are
14.3 Comunicati saranno esposti all albo ufficiale non oltre 30 minuti dal tempo limite per le proteste, per informare i concorrenti delle udienze nelle quali sono parti o nominati come testimoni. Le udienze si terranno nella sala della giuria all orario esposto. 14.4 Nell ultimo giorno di regata una richiesta di riapertura di udienza dovrà essere consegnata (a) entro il tempo limite per le proteste, se la parte richiedente è stata informata sulla decisione il giorno precedente; (b)non più tardi di 30 minuti, dopo che la parte richiedente è stata informata della decisione in quel giorno. Ciò modifica la Regola 66. 14.5 Nell ultimo giorno di regate una richiesta di riparazione basata su una decisione del comitato delle proteste dovrà essere consegnata non più tardi di 30 minuti dopo che la decisione è stata pubblicata all albo. Ciò modifica la Regola 62.2. 15 - PUNTEGGIO: 15.1 Punteggio della Star Spring Cup Sono previste quattro prove, di cui una prova deve essere completata per costituire una serie. Il punteggio finale della Star Spring Cup è basato sulla totalità degli iscritti. 15.2 Quando Quattro (4) o più prove sono state completate, il punteggio di una barca per la serie sarà il totale dei punteggi delle prove escluso il peggiore. 16 RESPONSABILITÀ E SICUREZZA: 16.1 La sicurezza di un imbarcazione e la sua completa gestione, incluso l assicurazione, sarà solo ed esclusivamente di responsabilità del proprietario e/o dell iscritto. 16.2 I concorrenti che abbandonino il percorso prima della conclusione della regata dovranno informare il comitato di regata o la Segreteria Regate il prima possibile. I concorrenti che non lascino gli ormeggi in un giorno di regata dovranno comunicarlo alla Segreteria Regate (cel. +393472796264). 17 - CAMBIO DI PRODIERE: 17.1 Qualunque richiesta di un cambio di prodiere deve essere sottoposta all Autorità Organizzatrice in forma scritta prima delle 9.00 del giorno di regata nel quale verrà effettuato il cambio. 17.2 Il cambio di timoniere non è ammesso. parties or named as witnesses. This changes rule 62.2. 15 - SCORING: 15.1 The Star Class Spring Cup scoring system: Four races are scheduled, of which one race shall be completed to constitute a series. Final scoring of Star Class Spring Cup is based on totality of entries. 15.2 When four (4) or more races will be completed, the final scoring of a boat valid for the series will be based on the total scorings of the races except the worst. 16 - LIABILITY AND SAFETY: 16.1 The safety of a boat and her entire anagement, including insurance, shall be the sole and inescapable responsibility of the owner and/or entrant. 16.2 Competitors leaving the race course before the end of a race shall inform the Race Committee or the Race Office as soon as possible. Competitors not leaving the dock on a race day shall inform the Race Office (mob. +393472796264). 17 - CREW CHANGES: 17.1 Any request for a change of crew must be submitted to the Organizing Authority in writing prior to 09.00 on the day of the race for which the change is to be made. 17.2 A change of helmsman will not be permitted. 18 TEAM AND PRIVATE SUPPORT BOATS: Team and Private Support Boats shall not be in the racing area or interfere with boats while racing. Should there be a postponement or abandonment, team and private support boats may re-enter the racing area and resume communications until the next Warning Signal is given.
18 - BARCHE APPOGGIO DI TEAM E PRIVATE: Barche appoggio di team e private non dovranno trovarsi nell area di regata o interferire con le barche in regata. In caso di differimento o abbandono, le barche appoggio di team e private potranno rientrare nell area di regata e riprendere le comunicazioni fino a quando non sia dato il successivo segnale di avviso. 19 ORMEGGIO, ALAGGIO E VARO IMBARCAZIONI: 19.1 Tutte le imbarcazioni dovranno trovarsi allo Yacht Club Portopiccolo a partire da Venerdì 19 maggio alle 18.00 fino al termine della Serie. 19.2 Tutte le imbarcazioni dovranno essere in acqua dalle 10.00 di sabato 20 maggio fino alla fine della regata. Le imbarcazioni non potranno essere alate durante la regata se non con l accordo e previo permesso scritto del comitato di regata. 20 - COMUNICAZIONI RADIO: Un imbarcazione quando è in regata non dovrà dare né ricevere comunicazioni radio (incluso telefono cellulare). 21 - PREMI: I premi saranno assegnati come da bando di regata. 22 - SCARICO DI RESPONSABILITÀ: I concorrenti partecipano alla prova completamente a loro rischio Vedi regola 4, decisione di partecipare alla prova. L autorità organizzatrice non assume alcuna responsabilità per danni materiali, infortuni alle persone o morte subiti in conseguenza della regata prima, durante o dopo di essa. 23 ASSICURAZIONE: Ogni barca concorrente deve essere coperta da una valida assicurazione per responsabilità verso terzi, con una copertura minima di 1.500.000, 00 per incidente o equivalente. 19 - BOAT STORAGE, LAUNCHING AND HAUL OUT: 19.1 All boats must be kept at Yacht Club Portopiccolo commencing on Friday May 19 th at 06.00 p.m. until the end of the Series. 19.2 All boats shall be afloat from 09.00 a.m. on Saturday May 20 th until the end of the regatta. Boats shall not be hauled out during the regatta except with and in accordance with prior written permission of the R.C. 20 - RADIO COMMUNICATION: A boat shall neither make nor receive radio transmissions (including cellular telephone) while racing. 21 PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded as shown in the notice of race. 22 - DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY: Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta. 23 - INSURANCE Every participating boat must have a valid liability insurance with a minimum ceiling of 1.500.000, 00 per event or equivalent. 24 OFFICIAL LANGUAGE Italian is the official language of the event. In case of conflict, the Italian version will prevail. 24 - LINGUA UFFICIALE: La lingua ufficiale della manifestazione è l Italiano; in caso di conflitto con il testo in Inglese, prevarrà il testo Italiano.
