Anche nella stagione 2009 si è potuto contare su fondamentali sinergie agonistiche, prime fra tutte quelle con il Team Diquigiovanni Androni e il tester d eccezione Gilberto Simoni. Le biciclette Guerciotti sono progettate, realizzate e curate per garantire massima personalizzazione dei modelli ed elevata qualità di ogni componente. Da questo impegno nascono nuove proposte come il modello Krakatoa, massima espressione del telaio di alta gamma. Krakatoa è sinonimo di perfezione, esattamente il su misura che un corridore del livello di Gibo chiede alla sua bici. Questo modello è nato dall evoluzione del Simoni replica 2008 e del telaio Diquigiovanni Replica Con una importante caratteristica in più: la possibilità di un telaio perfettamente su misura in modo tale da soddisfare il maggior numero di utilizzatori, senza andare a discapito di leggerezza e rigidità. Inoltre il modello Krakatoa prevede una versione anche per il montaggio del nuovo Dura-Ace DI2, in modo tale da poter montare una bicicletta Guerciotti con tutto il top che il mercato del ciclo può offrire. Entrambi i telai sono realizzati dal nostro prestigioso partner Dedacciai, utilizzando carbonio IM-600 di Toray per ottenere il minor peso possibile e la maggior resistenza meccanica. 4

Throughout the 2009 season, this has been the foundation of many competitive synergies, most notably those of Team Diquigiovanni Androni and the exceptional product tester Gilberto Simoni. Guerciotti bicycles are envisioned, developed and finished to guarantee the maximum personalization of each model and the highest quality of every component. From such commitment are born new offerings such as the Krakatoa the ultimate expression of a high range frame. Krakatoa is synonymous with perfection, made precisely to measure and providing everything that a racer of Gibo s level demands from his own bicycle. This model was born from the evolution of the Simoni Replica 2008 and of the Diquigiovanni Replica 2009 with one important additional characteristic: the possibility of a frame made perfectly to measure, tailored to satisfy the greatest number of cyclists without sacrificing lightness or rigidity. Besides Krakatoa provides a version also to mount the new Shimano Dura-Ace DI2, in this way everybody can built a Guerciotti bike with all the top level products offered in the cycling market. Both frames are the brainchildren of our prestigious partner Dedacciai, using Toray IM-600 carbon fiber in order to obtain the lowest possible weight while maintaining the most efficient mechanical properties. 5
