3 Mission And Objectives Industrial maintenance and environmental improvement works Established in the early seventies as a craftsmen s company, Isoedil developed until the mid-eighties as a firm specialized in the field of both civil and industrial insulation. Over these last years, the company has met with enormous success in its sector, collaborating with customers of great renown. The saturation of the market reached in the late 80 s led the owners to the reconversion of the activities involved in their business and, while still remaining in the fields of civil and industrial construction, they started to focus on the maintenance of industrial buildings and on environmental protection and conservation. While this was happening, the fields of traditional and specialized construction developed as well, especially in connection with the erection of new buildings, the conservation of the architectural patrimony and with ordinary and extraordinary maintenance. 2 3 In early 1999, the business name of Isoedil has been changed in Isoedil Costruzioni, this reinforced the company s structure, keeping the founder partners in their positions while at the same time developing more possibilities of new synergy and extending their range of action to include new sectors, which meant substantial investments in the reclamation of the Venice lagoon, thanks to their strategic geographical location. In collaboration with leading investors in the managerial field, major works were undertaken for both open space and call centers and a facility management service was started to take care of overall maintenance work.

4 Activity Constructive process, turnkey basis Isoedil Costruzioni is responsible for the construction process, even on a turnkey basis in the following areas: Restoration and renovation works Civil and industrial works Contract house-building Construction of schools, hotels and cemeteries Ordinary and extraordinary maintenance works Construction of large complexes with open space and call center offices General management of maintenance work of buildings Decontamination works, sewerage systems and depuration plants Plumbing and forest protection and environmental improvement works 4 5

The company also relies on its state-of-the-art technology and highly qualified staff for reclamation, consolidation and restoration works of just any historic building. Besides, the sophisticated machinery and equipment the company s uses enable its technicians to conduct all preliminary survey works on historic buildings and monuments and also to make decisions on the most suitable equipment and procedures to be applied in each case. 6

9 Enviromental improvement Low-emission and environmental safety standards The sensitivity of the company has shown regarding environmental protection has led it to bring its machinery and equipment up to date to make them compliant with low-emission and safety standards currently in force. In conjunction with the expert training received by managerial staff, this constant updating makes it possible to work in conformity with European standards, thus making Isoedil Costruzioni a leading operator in the field of protection and improvement of plumbing systems and in Forest and Environmental reclamation and improvement. Isoedil Costruzioni has co-operated with leading multinational groups in the reclamation work done in Porto Marghera (province of Venice). Besides, it specializes in the calibration of canals, in river bank protection, lining of river banks and in plumbing interception works. 9
