2 March 2001 Onwards Founder, director and programmer General direction of all activities, programmer of the FLxER software FLxER.net online project FLxER was born in 2001 as a practical answer to the necessity of mixing the expressive arts of a digital creatives collective. Today it is a free software for mixing vector graphics, audio, video, text and interactive media all together. It was born in 2001 from the idea of using a computer in order to realise a live video performance, similarly to what was already happening in the electronic music production/performance. Since none of the expensive consumer video software available in the market did allow to perform in real time, the solution was to independently design and develop an application able to solve this problem. FLxER today is also a web-community of more than people sharing their own productions. November 1999 Onwards Founder & director General direction of all activities Shockart.net online project Shockart.net aim is to be recognized as a worldwide reference able to spread and to increase the value of webart and digital art. The digital support is the place where digital art is created, develops itself and is shown to its public without the need of being printed or to be reproduced in any other way. Monitors, computers, networks are no longer just to be considered media but also the platforms thanks to which the digital opera is brought to its public remaining faithful to itself. The guideline of Shockart is then to give added value to digital arts, a form of expression able to reach a big audience without losing the original impact, the original purity. "Shockart.net" is the web container for the web art where digital operas coming from all over the world are selected by the Association and put in the web "Gallery". On the 10th of April a selection of 16 operas is presented for the first time "Off Line"; it represents a news for Shockart.net. The response of public and critics of this initiative turned out to be very positive as many other web sites linked themself to Shockart.net pointing it as reference for the digital art on web. The project focuses on the achievement of the first museum devoted exclusively to one of the most interesting contemporary art: the web art. The space, in addition to house a permanent collection the result of work done by Shockart.net since 1999, will be the ideal location for exhibitions and events dedicated not only to web art, but the relationship between art and technology, and technology and communication in general. The project was inspired by a lack of space to accommodate a very ambitious project of Shockart.net: the realization of the first World Web Art Exhibition. The sensitivity of the institutions that have taken to heart the project and our sociocultural belief in the importance of the initiative meant that it could lay the first stone in Rome, a city reference international artists. The WAM is not intended only as an exhibition space, but wants to be a center for training than the various disciplines related to web art and digital communication. The museum thus becomes entity open to traffic distribution and connection of various forms of knowledge and creativity.
