Crystal 140 is a one of a kind model that Benetti has placed smack in the middle of the Class range. It builds on the idea of an open water navetta with grand spaces above and below deck: a feat in day lighting and new features. The large, full-height windows and generous exterior spaces point to the inspirational concepts: the relationship with the sea and living outdoors. Crystal is also offered in the classic version with a smoke stack, a time-honoured boating symbol. 5

Benetti s Exclusive Sea Technology BEST is the new exclusive technologic platform created by Benetti that integrates all the onboard electrical systems. In BEST all subsystems, although different for functionality and technology can communicate with each other using a common language: television really talks to lights as well as cameras talk to phones. This is possible because every function has an open interface that enables communication with the rest of the system. BEST is made up of a single network infrastructure and middleware software that correlate all devices and different components through the exchange of signals and events. Integrated Bridge System The Integrated Bridge Systems designed by Benetti represents a technological innovation capable of integrating and interfacing all navigation instruments thanks to a single software complete with hardware. The Benetti challenge was to design a system which could optimise functional integration of all navigation telecommunications, safety and data transmission instrumentation in order to guarantee extreme ease of use and fast response time, resluting in a considerable increase in sea safety levels. The project, with its innovative modular structure design, is constantly under development in order to allow for the integration of navigation and communication system from the world leading industry brands. 7

Fondato a Viareggio da Lorenzo Benetti nel 1873, il cantiere ha iniziato la sua attività costruendo imbarcazioni a vela di legno destinate ad un uso commerciale per traffici locali ed internazionali, guadagnandosi rapidamente la fama di leader mondiale del settore. Nel 1985, Azimut ha scritto una nuova pagina nella storia di Benetti.
