Profilo azienda Ecoepoque è una nuova start up nel panorama del design italiano, è giovane, dinamica, intraprendente e soprattutto attenta all ambiente. Ogni prodotto che prende vita dal sito produttivo vicino a Sant Agata de Goti è realizzato con materiali ecocompatibili, derivanti da processi di recupero e trasformati con tecniche di lavorazione all avanguardia. Artigiani specializzati rifiniscono a mano ogni prodotto, rendendolo unico e originale grazie all estrema cura per il dettaglio. La collaborazione con giovani designer italiani, come quella recente con l art director Francesco dell Aglio, infine trasformano Ecoepoque in una vera e propria fucina di innovazione e creatività nel campo dell interior design. Designer Profile AAIDO MA Uno studio italiano di product e interior design, con un background di architettura, che ricerca nuove forme di dialogo con il mondo degli oggetti e soprattutto mette costantemente in discussione i confini tradizionali tra le scale di progetto, i nuovi media, le tecniche di produzione e gli approcci di spettatorialità dell utenza. Per conferire agli oggetti forza e significato i progetti sono sviluppati, infatti, partendo da analisi concettuali che vanno dalla materia alla funzione attraverso il contesto di fruizione. AAIDO MA è un acronimo di cognomi, "MA" è anche un concetto filosofico giapponese che può essere sintetizzato come lo spazio significante esistente tra due parti strutturali.

E pensato, come racconta il nome, per la casa (flat/appartamento) ma anche per il business e l hospitality (hotel), indagando il rapporto tra spazio, arredo e abitante. Progettato per eliminare quanto più possibile l ingombro degli elementi di arredo, da qui l idea di flat/piatto, si compone di tre complementi: LIBRERIA: una libreria che sta in piedi su una sola gamba e nella quale i libri sono sistemati lateralmente e non nella classica visione frontale; SEDUTA VERTICALE: una seduta ischiatica che funge da supporto per una comune e naturale postura di rilassamento, assunta in genere negli spazi di attesa; COMODINO: un tavolino/comodino in cui sono integrate le funzioni di lampada e di contenitore. In completa sintonia con lo spirito di Ecoepoque inoltre Flathotel è realizzato esclusivamente con pieghe e tagli. Tutti gli elementi formali e strutturali sono ricavati da un unica lastra, eliminando così gli scarti di lavorazione in un ottica di rispetto per l ambiente. Flathotel dimostra come possano convivere in un unico prodotto studio delle forme e della funzionalità, estetica, innovazione e sostenibilità. Il materiale utilizzato è l Alucobond, un materiale eco-compatibile fatto di plastica e fogli d alluminio, certificato da DGNB e utilizzato prevalentemente per gli involucri esterni degli edifici.

Company profile Ecoepoque is a new start-up in the Italian design sector. It s young, dynamic, innovating and above all environmentally conscious. Every piece that comes to life from the production facility near Sant'Agata de'goti, is made with eco-friendly materials, resulting from recovery processes and transformed with advanced manufacturing techniques. Skilled craftsmen handfinish each product paying attention to any detail and making it unique and original. Ecoepoque is collaborating with young Italian designers, led by the art director Francesco dell Aglio. The aim is to become a centre for innovation and creativity in the field of interior design. Designer Profile AAIDO MA AAIDO MA is just an acronym of our last names: A_architects, AI_adinolfi, DO_dell aglio, + MA_ is a Japanese word which can be roughly translated as space, pause or the space between two structural parts. AAIDO MA is a product and interior design studio. Based in Napoli the studio is focused on products, furniture and interior design. It develops its projects around a conceptual thinking that goes from the material to the function through the context. The studio aim is to balance its creative process with the local handcraft skills. Projects usually come out from a course that examines and analyses the relation between object and owner. The aesthetical features are than interpreted through local materials and production skills. As a result, the project holds more strength and significance.

It s conceived, as the name says, for the house (flat/apartment), but also for office buildings and hospitality (hotel), investigating the relationship between space, furniture and inhabitants. Designed to minimize the size of furnishing elements, thanks to its flat shapes, it is made of three complements: CRIPPLESHELF: a library which stands on one leg and in which the books are placed from the side and not from the front as usual; WALLSTANDINGCHAIR: a vertical seat that becomes a resting support for all waiting rooms; TILLTABLE: a coffee/bedside table with integrated functionalities of lighting and shelf. In addition, in total coherence with the eco-sustainable values of Ecoepoque, Flathotel is made exclusively through folds and cuts. All structural parts are made from a single sheet, thus eliminating the scraps. Flathotel proves how a single product can be the result at the same time of new ideas about shape, functionality, aesthetics and sustainability. The material used is mainly Alucobond, an eco-sustainable material made of aluminum and plastics certified by DGNB and mainly used in external building coverage.
