Fondriest Team 2008 NGC-OTC Banca Popolare di Vicenza La squadra professionisti diretta dal team manager Pier Giovanni Baldini e guidata dal D.S. Lanzoni, che ha ottenuto dei risultati di tutto rilievo in molte gare a livello nazionale ed internazionale come la Milano-Sanremo, il giro del Trentino e il Tour of Turkey. Fa parte della squadra tra gli altri il Campione Ucraino su strada e pista 2006-2007 Volodymyr Zagorodniy. Hanno corso con Il TF1 Reparto Corse con telaio fasciato su misura. The professional team is lead by team manager Pier Giovanni Baldini, with Lanzoni as sports director, and has achieved outstanding results in many races at Italian and international level such as the Milan-Sanremo, the Giro del Trentino and the Tour of Turkey. Among others the team includes the 2006-2007 Ukrainian road and track Champion Volodymyr Zagorodniy. They have competed with the TF1 Racing Section using customised bound frames. G.S. Seano - Vangi - Molino di Ferro La società Cycling Team Montemurlo Empolese Vangi prende vita nel 1999 con la categoria Juniores. Nel 2005 il lavoro di immagine e del vivaio danno i primi frutti e chiude la stagione con 13 Vittorie. Il 2006 ancora meglio, si consacra come Team leader a livello nazionale. Viene in categoria Ulissi Diego che dal primo anno vince tantissimo. Il 2007 è l'anno dei sogni: primo Team in Italia e nel Mondo con ben 33 successi tra cui moltissime gare nazionali ed internazionali; primo Team nella Classifica UCI, il Bis Mondiale in Messico, il Bis di Ulissi alla 3Tre, il campionato Toscano, insomma tutto quello che c'era da vincere. Nel 2008 il Team Vangi diretto dall'ex professionista Riccardo Forconi, approda alla categoria U23. The Cycling Team Montemurlo Empolese Vangi Company starts out in 1999 in the Juniores category. Work on the team image and in cultivating new talent soon shows its first fruits, with 13 Victories for the season. 2006 is even better, achieving recognition as the leading Team at national level. Ulissi Diego joins the category, scoring many wins right from the very first year. Then 2007 proves to be the dream year: first Team in Italy and in the World with an astounding 33 wins, many in national and international events; first Team in the ICU Classification, the World Double in Mexico, the Double of Ulissi at the 3Tre, the Tuscany championship, practically everything there was to be won. In 2008 the Vangi Team run by the former professional Riccardo Forconi, reaches the U23 category. Ambra Cavallini Il team che prende parte alla categoria iuniores per adesso ha fatto il tris alla 3Tre Bresciana (unico Team ad averla vinta 3 anni di seguito) il campionato Toscano. Altri risultati importanti a varie gare nazionali ed Internazionali come il Fiaschi, Cannata, trofeo Buffoni, Trofeo San Rocco, internazionali di Offida. Attualmente è a quota 20 vittorie e si sta riconfermando primo Team in Italia nella categoria. The team taking part in the Juniores category has so far won a hat trick in the 3Tre Bresciana (the only Team to win it 3 years in a row) and also the Tuscan championship. Other important results are achieved in various Italian and International races, such as the Fiaschi, Cannata, the Buffoni Trophy, the San Rocco Trophy and the Offida internationals. With victories currently standing at 20 the Team is once again heading for confirmation as Italy s leading Team in its category. 5

Fondriest 20 Anniviersario In concomitanza con il ventennale della vittoria ai Campionati del Mondo di Renaix 1988, Maurizio ha intrapreso un tour in sette tappe, che lo hanno portato da Cles, sua città natale, a Roma da giovedì 12 a mercoledì 18 giugno.non si è trattato solo di celebrare il suo successo sportivo, ma Fondriest ha voluto dare a questo viaggio un duplice intento benefico a favore dei più piccoli, grazie al progetto Piccolo Fratello promosso da Fondazione Mediolanum e Fondazione Francesca Rava, N.P.H. Italia Onlus, e AIL. Hanno partecipato attivamente grandissimi campioni del ciclismo come Gianni Motta, Eugeni Berzin, Moreno Argentin e Marco Zen, Davide Cassani, Ercole Baldini, Alfredo Martini, Franco Ballerini, Paolo Pettini, Gianni Bugno. L ultima tappa ha visto l atteso incontro con il Pontefice in Piazza S.Pietro, al quale Maurizio ha donato la TF1 edizione speciale. In conjunction with the 20th anniversary of winning the World Championships in Renaix in 1988, Maurizio has set out on a sevenstage tour, taking him to Cles, where he was born, and also to Rome from Thursday 12th to Wednesday 18th June. Not just a question of celebrating a sporting success, because Fondriest wanted a double benefit for this journey, supporting youngsters, thanks to the Little Brother (Piccolo Fratello) project promoted by the Mediolanum Foundation and the Francesca Rava Foundation, N.P.H. Design & Technology Al Centro Stile Fondriest i nostri ingegneri studiano quotidianamente su CAD nuove soluzioni tecnologiche che poi vengono testate con innovativi modelli matematici. Il design è pensato sempre per implementare la funzionalità e le prestazioni, non è mai fine a se stesso. Da qui nasce già un primo feeling emozionale con il nuovo telaio, che potrà essere il presupposto per lo sviluppo e il completamento del progetto. Ricerca e sviluppo Nel campo della ricerca sui materiali compositi sono stati fatti elaborati test sulle sollecitazioni nelle zone di tensione e compressione dei telai monoscocca. Per ottenere dei telai con un peso contenuto ed elevate prestazionalità, utilizziamo fibre di carbonio a spessore 3K unidirezionale e 12K 2x2 twill preimpregante con resine epossidiche. Tutti i telai vengono seguiti in fase progettuale da Maurizio Fondriest e poi testati su strada personalmente da lui. To obtain frames with reduced weight and high performance, we use 3K thickness unidirectional and 2x2 twill carbon fibre pre-impregnated with epoxy resins. At the design phase all the frames are closely followed by Maurizio Fondriest and then personally tested by him on the road. This is the only way for a bike to become made in Fondriest.
