BREAD design di Paola Navone Un segno forte, quasi teatrale distingue il nuovo progetto Gingerbread di Paola Navone. Le linee tradizionali sono rilette attraverso la ricerca costante di abbinamenti inconsueti. Di forme, di materiali e di stili. Riferimenti stilistici classici rimodellano spazi e presenze, la tradizione è riplasmata con proporzioni generose. I nuovi arredi si riappropriano della terza dimensione assumendo profondità nuove e forme con volumi barocchi e sagome ancestrali. L effetto ottenuto è una scenografia domestica, calda e spettacolare. Le strutture del nuovo Gingerbread sono realizzate in legno massello grezzo, nei colori naturali, bianco o grigio. Bacchette di ferro forgiato e in seguito cromato, sono utilizzate per realizzare i supporti dei tavoli e delle librerie. Il ferro cromato smaterializza e alleggerisce la struttura. Il legno quasi galleggia. La collezione è composta da madie, credenze alte e basse, letti, sedute morbide e accoglienti, tavoli e tavolini. I volumi sono modellati attraverso superfici prive di decoro. Il risultato è un equilibrio strano e sorprendente, fuori dal tempo. Per un paesaggio domestico inatteso e magico.
