Il catalogo Porcellana affianca quello del Vetro e della Degustazione, con l obiettivo di fornire un offerta completa per l allestimento della tavola e una mise en place all insegna della creatività, ricca di fantasiosi accostamenti. Zafferano propone La tavola colorata : anche nella porcellana viene dato ampio spazio al colore, per invitare ad apparecchiare la tavola con combinazioni sempre nuove. Zafferano proposes The colourful table : colour is also of prime importance for porcelain, which attracts the eye and lets you set the table with new combinations every time. The colours always match past collections in glass that have made Zafferano a reference brand for tableware. The lines offered in this catalogue are resistant to washes and temperatures, making them ideal for functional use in restaurants and in the home. The porcelain collections by Zafferano have been created to provide products that are aesthetically fun and functional, also enhancing the raw materials used: i.e. they are useful tools for food design. ZAFFERANO nasce nel 2001 da un idea di Federico de Majo, la cui storia ha inizio nella vetreria muranese di famiglia. È qui che, a metà degli anni Settanta, inizia a dedicarsi con passione al vetro soffiato ed artistico. Partendo così da una profonda conoscenza dei segreti della lavorazione del vetro, l imprenditore e designer, dà vita a collezioni di calici da degustazione, bicchieri artistici, accessori per la tavola, lampade e complementi. L obiettivo è di offrire una proposta completa rivolta tanto agli ambienti privati quanto alle strutture destinate all accoglienza e all ospitalità, per conferire all arredo della tavola e degli interni una forte connotazione estetica. Scelta dei materiali, funzionalità e studio delle forme attestano la forte attenzione alla progettualità e alla ricerca dei prodotti che contraddistinguono il marchio ZAFFERANO. The story of ZAFFERANO has its beginnings in 2001 from the long experience of Federico de Majo, businessman and designer, who has worked in the family business on the island of Murano, in the field of blown and artistic glass since the Seventies. ZAFFERANO stems from Federico de Majo s profound awareness of the secrets of glass shaping and experience in the creation of objects of design that will result in multifarious collections of wine-tasting glasses, art glasses, tableware accessories, lighting fixtures and decorative accessories. The company aims at offering both the private and hospitality environments a complete range of products, in order to provide the table and the interior decoration with a strong aesthetic style. Specifically selected materials, researched and innovative technical shapes - such as the patented collection Esperienze - reveal a strong focus on design and product research. 3
