The declaration of value shall also indicate whether in the Country where it was obtained the degree allows the holder to undertake third-level academic studies that are equivalent to PhD Programmes. Art. 7.1 Admission Announcement: Candidates who hold a foreign degree however may be allowed to start the PhD one year later, in the subsequent academic year, if they are unable to obtain the required documentation for their foreign academic qualification or the entry visa within the 31 January, provided the Academic Board decides that the delay is acceptable. Reasons for this delay must be proved and documented. However, payment of the first enrolment fee and submission of the form Declaration of obligations by the PhD student are compulsory and scholarship holders must submit the scholarship request form within the deadline for registration in the current academic year. Candidates must submit all the above-mentioned documentation within the deadline for registration in the subsequent academic year or they shall be excluded from the programme.
