D e s i g n e r Valentina Livan Veneziana di origine, vive da sempre tra la sua amata città e Padova. Ama l arte e la danza contemporanea, la musica indie e le forme di architettura metropolitana. Questo la spinge da sempre a viaggiare, osservare ed elaborare le sue impressioni per FUTURISMO. Dal 2010 Valentina lavora ad una propria linea e nel 2012 lancia la prima collezione proponendo uno stile moderno ed innovativo per la donna «metropolitana» di oggi e domani soprattutto. Born and raised in Venice, has always lived and worked both in her beloved hometown and in Padua. She loves arts and contemporary dance, indie music and architecture. During her travels she observes everything that surrounds her and elaborates her impressions in her work for FUTURISMO. Since 2010 Valentina has been working on her own clothing line until in 2012 she launched her first collection suggesting a modern and innovative style for nowadays women.

The brand FUTURISMO by Valentina Livan has been founded by Valentina Livan and Roberto Moscatt in 2012. The young fashion label from Padua in Northern Italy focusses on the constant research of innovative materials. Furthermore, the work of the designer, Valentina Livan, is characterized by the thorough attention to accurate pattern making. Her ambition is to emphasize female shapes and bring out the natural elegance of her clients adopting clean and fluid shapes. Throughout importants collaborations with Italian manufacturing companies, Valentina studies new fabrics that combine the characteristics of technical materials such as thermoregulation and high breathability, with the elegance of high fashion fabrics. The fundamental features of these fabrics are brightness, elevated elasticity and comfortable softness which maintain the microclimate between skin and fabric. The result of the combination of fabrics like silk, linen, lycra, wool and cashmere are garments of the highest quality and wearability. Through innovation and high quality of the product, Futurismo is awarded as "Best Fashion Designer 2013" by Camera Italiana Buyer Moda and Assomoda.
