Nella discesa dalla Colma di Sormano sono caduti i dorsali n 163 DE PLUS Laurens (QST), 236 PETILLI Simone (UAD) e 12 BAKELANTS Jan (ALM), che sono usciti di strada, fortunatamente su un terrapieno che si trovava al di sotto della sede stradale. Il n 163 che è stato il primo a cadere è stato portato all ospedale di Cantù per una contusione al ginocchio destro ed è già stato dimesso dall ospedale. Il n 236 è invece stato ricoverato all ospedale di Varese in osservazione per trauma cranico commotivo, ferita lacero-contusa (FLC) frontale e contusione spalla e anca destra. Il n 12 ha riportato un trauma lombare e toracico e si trova per accertamenti all ospedale di Como Sant Anna. Infine nello stesso punto è caduto, senza uscire di strada, anche il n 246 che è stato portato all ospedale di Erba per accertamenti per trauma contusivo multiplo al lato sinistro del corpo. Lors de la descente de Colma di Sormano, les dossards n 163 DE PLUS Laurens (QST), 236 PETILLI Simone (UAD) et 12 BAKELANTS Jan (ALM) ont chuté quittant la route, sur un terre-plein au-dessous de la chaussée. Le dossard n 163, qui a chuté en premier, a été transporté à l hôpital de Cantù, ayant souffert d une contusion au genou droit ; il a déjà quitté l hôpital. Le dossard n 236 a été hospitalisé à l hôpital de Varese, sous observation, ayant souffert d une commotion cérébrale, d une plaie contuse frontale et d une contusion à l épaule et à la hanche droites. Le dossard n 12 a souffert d un traumatisme lombaire et thoracique ; il se trouve à l hôpital de Como Sant Anna pour d ultérieurs examens. Eurosport ha diffuso live l'ultima Monumento della stagione in tutta Europa, ad eccezione della Francia in cui la copertura è stata garantita in chiaro e in esclusiva da L Equipe. In Svizzera la gara è stata trasmessa anche da SRG SSR, e in Belgio dall emittente in lingua francese RTBF. In Asia, gli appassionati giapponesi hanno potuto accedere alla diretta su DAZN, mentre quelli cinesi hanno goduto delle immagini di gara su LETV. In altri 15 Paesi asiatici, nonché in Australia, Il Lombardia NamedSport era presente sugli schermi di Eurosport Asia Pacific, mentre in Nuova Zelanda le fasi salienti della corsa potevano essere seguite su Sky Sports. Il network OSN deteneva i diritti per tutti i territori della regione Medio Oriente e Nord Africa, mentre più a sud l emittente Kwese Sport copriva l intera Africa Subsahariana ad eccezione del Sudafrica, in cui la corsa era trasmessa in diretta da Supersport. In Asia, the exclusive live broadcast in Japan was on DAZN, and in China the race has been broadcasted on LETV.
