aòs. Pierluigi Cerri aòs è un programma di arredi fondato sulla diversità, destinato anche all ufficio, ma un ufficio privo di quella tecnologia fine a se stessa che spesso trasforma i mobili in macchine cablate. aòs è una collezione che volutamente nega ogni aspetto tecnicistico e i cui elementi, semplici sul piano funzionale, sono in grado di crescere gradualmente e naturalmente, senza vincoli di coordinamento, se non quelli impliciti nella coerenza progettuale dell insieme. ella sua completezza, il programma aòs dà corpo all idea di un ufficio globale il cui significato è definito dagli arredi, che nella loro specificità rimangono tuttavia aperti ad altre destinazioni e funzioni. Mobili meno aggressivi e ricchi di personalità. Il programma comprende tavoli scrivania in varie misure e forme, costituiti da una struttura formata da profili in alluminio a sezione triangolare, assemblati in modo da accogliere, senza ulteriori accorgimenti, i piani di cristallo (extra chiaro, fumé, acidati) oppure in legno. I tavoli riunione di grandi dimensioni sono ottenuti aggregando moduli quadrati (max 200x200 cm), allineati o composti gli uni accanto agli altri. Le librerie, modulari, sono costituire da un rivestimento in legno, una boiserie attrezzabile con mensole e piccoli armadi chiusi da ante in cristallo con cerniere di disegno esclusivo, fissati direttamente alla parete rivestita. Dotata di struttura autoportante, la versione bassa e a media altezza della libreria è attrezzata con cassetti portaoggetti ed elementi divisori portalibro. aòs is a furnishing program based on diversity, designed for offices in which technology, though present, must never be intrusive. The aòs collection is deliberately non-technological in appearance. Kept simple in terms of function, its elements can be added gradually and naturally, with no obligation to coordinate with each other beyond the implicit design coherence of the collection as a whole. The aòs program gives form to the idea of a complete office whose significance is defined by its furnishings, which, despite their specificity, easily lend themselves to other uses and functions. The pieces are elegant and unaggressive, yet with lots of personality. The program includes desks and tables in various shapes and sizes. The frames, in aluminum profiles with a triangular cross-section, are assembled so as to directly accommodate the tops, in plate glass (extra clear, smoked, or with acid finish) or wood. Outsized conference tables are achieved by clustering square and rectangular modules (max 200x200cm) in lines or groups. The bookcase consists of modular wood paneling that can be equipped with shelves and small cabinets fronted with plate glass doors with specially-designed hinges, anchored directly to the wall paneling. Equipped with self-supporting structures, the low and mid-height versions of the bookcase are accessorized with drawers for small objects and bookshelf divider elements.
