This is the aim of the Italian Barometer Diabetes Observatory Foundation, which is much more than just a project: it is a current tool and a permanent Think Tank to measure progresses in the fight against diabetes.

12 Member of Forum Location: Villa Mondragone, an internationally renowned center and the representative premises of the Tor Vergata University of Rome, is the permanent seat of the Italian Barometer Diabetes Observatory Foundation. This building has always been the setting of cutting edge innovation. It was the privileged venue of Galileo Galilei s telescope. It is also the placewhere, in 1582, Pope Gregory XIII signed and issued the Inter Gravissimas papal bull to promulgate the new calendar that today is used throughout the world. More recently Villa Mondragone hosted the experiments of Guglielmo Marconi, who performed in the Villa his earliest radio communication tests, that would open the path of microwave terrestrial communications.
